what have you got to be thankful for?

1. many bunches of amazing friends.
2. a somewhat screwed up family who still dotes on me.
3. a weird bunch of uni profs.
4. being able to enjoy life.
5. freddo, my italian love.
6. an amazing edward cullen to feature in my dreams.
7. my lao pok car.
8. holidays.
9. road trips.
10. low petrol prices.

fate's game

you know how some people are just brilliant at some things they do? it seems to come so naturally. like how Shakespeare has his way with linguistics, how Mozart and Beethoven came up with beautiful musical pieces, how convincing A-list Hollywood actors(as well as top ranking politicians) are... they're all bloody brilliant at what they do.

how do they do that and what makes them so capable?

One thing I've learnt this year is that outcomes rarely go according to plan.

"Fail to plan, plan to fail."

Cliched. Overused. Unreliable. There will always be that element of surprise that screws everything when you least expect it. It will always be there ready to knock you off your feet. Plans are just a mere waste of time when it comes to the intangibles. Just go with the flow, see what doors open, take chances and just walk in. Of course, don't forget common sense and intuition.
