2012 Part III :D

Image
One of the first things I did after my kids went to school was dye my hair brown.
I was sick of being a fake blonde...so now I'll be a fake brunette!  I really have no
idea what my natural color is :-) but I know brown dye has got to be healthier for my
hair than bleach.  Good riddens!!!  Plus it's so cheap...Love it!!!

Image
This is what happens when you get a new Iphone and your kids
won't stop playing with it! I have tons of these pictures on my phone!

Image
Going with Tyson and his 4th grade class to This is the Place.
I checked Whitney out of kindergarten wo she could go with us.

Image

Image
Mrs. Correy's class after they learned a cute dance in the dance hall.

Image
Whitney started gymnastics along with dance this year.  She is so strong and
flexible!  She was top of her class in the 3-5 yr olds so Coach Steve moved her to the 6-10
yr old class. Then she was moved into the advanced class in that group.  Much of it comes from Kelsey
teaching Whitney everything she knows! Whitney just learned to do back walkovers, yay Whit!!
We love Coach Steve!

Image
Tyson at his first chess tournament.  He was so excited to go!
He won 3 out of 5 matches.  Noah got 1st place! Way to go boys!!
Or should I say super nerds!!!
Image

Image
Travis started a remodel on the Four Seasons in Teton Village by Jackson Hole, WY.
Which means he spends an awful lot of time there!  I went up to stay with him one of the weekends.
It's beautiful!!!

Image
In fromt of our hotel right after an awesome 8 mile run through the wild. :) Just kidding, it
was a gorgeous walking path, but there were signs posted all over saying..."be bear aware," and "wolf in area," and "don't approach moose!" I kinda feared for my life a little!

Image
Travis busy at work on the balcony of our "free" amazing room.

Image
Behind us is Old Faithful, but it was too cold and windy to stay and wait for the thing to erupt!!
This must be why it is their off season!

Image
Some of beautiful Yellowstone

Image
This is the biggest moose Travis has ever seen...

Image
I was so sad because when I got home, Whitney lost her first tooth and the tooth fairy
had already come!! She still has the cutest smile!

Image
For my 34th Birthday (geez that sounds too old!) Travis was in Jackson Hole.  I had a great morning work out at the gym, then had Kneaders with my mom for lunch at her school (I took the food there :)) Then
my super neighbor's...the Bonners,  went with me to the awesome high school play of
Les Misrables.  Totally enjoyed this day!! Thanks everyone...and thanks to Travis who texted me "Happy Birthday"  He will never live that down!!!

Image
We carved our pumpkins on halloween.  It was really a perfect time to do it! Whitney wanted a kitty...I think I did a pretty good job!  Tyson is the Emperer of Death this year, how nice...Whitney wanted to be a butterfly fairy, so I think this is what one would look like :),...Kelsey is a 50s girl, I made the poodle on her skirt, impressive right?!!

Image
My cute little bug

Image
This Halloween was another milestone for me! Mckay was out with his friends, Kelsey and her friend Jaimee took Whitney Trick -or-Treating, and Tyson and Noah went Trick-or Treating (by themselves...with walkie-talkies so we knew where they were) Travis watched a Jazz game on TV while I did laundry, washed dishes, made pumpkin seeds, and answered the door every other minute.  It was so FUN!! Next year I totally want to decorate the front of my house really spooky, passing out candy was a blast...I wonder how many years it will take for me to get sick of doing it? :)

Image
Whitney has suddenly become brave this month!! Walking on the balance beam, going down the
Kamas Pool slide all by herself (my other kids all did this by age 3!) and doing the monkey bars with no help!

Image

Image
Our first big snow storm this year.  I think Travis is waxing our boards right now!
We hope it snows a TON!!!

Image
Tyson keeps getting better and better!  He just advanced to his blue belt this November!

Image
Whitney was devistated that all night before her birthday, she was throwing up! Like
every 2-3 hours!  So awful!  But what was worse was when she said in a sad very sick voice,
"I don't want to be sick on my birthday!"  I felt so bad! We had scheduled her first ski lesson this day and
had to reschedule it!  We made it up to her by buying extra presents and getting a very cute Smurf cake.  She
was very spoiled this day for sure!

Image
Happy 5th Birthday sweetie! We love you!  Whitney actually
started feeling a little better the night of her birthday.  She even ate some of her cake!

How Mckay mows the lawn...just kidding,
he had the mower off and was giving the kids rides.  That'sMckay for you!  :-)

Image
Whitney and Laynee at the amazing Fancy Nancy party at the Library.
It was the day before Mother's Day.  Mom's and their daughters dressed up
really fancy and had sandwhiches and fruit.  We decorated cookies, had our pictures taken and decorated frames, read
Fancy Nancy stories, painted nails and learned how to "act fancy".  Then the girls paraded around the tables to show
off their fancy dresses.  They had name settings at the table, a crown, a necklace, a ring, and a wand for each of the girls.  This was the cutest "free" party I've ever been too.  We had such a great time!  Perfect right before Mother's Day!

notice, no helmet, no knee pads,...heck, who needs shoes! Good grief!!!

Image
Where we spent most of our summer...Seven Peaks, yipee! The kids loved it!
They couldn't wait until 5pm everytime we were there because that meant 1/2 off
Dippin' Dots.  Which by the way I've never tried until this summer...Yum!!! Now
I know why my kids are always begging for them!
