introducing...

Okay everyone, brace yourselves...we are really excited about our new baby so we have a billion pics to post! Here's the footnotes version of the day:

Jarett Jacob Cobb born 1/10/11 at 10:25am weighing in at 8.4oz and 20in long

Labor and delivery went pretty smoothly...we did have a few bumps along the way (I passed out getting an IV, my doctor was in an emergency C-section right as I was about to give birth so nurses had to stop labor with some powerful meds -- which felt like i drank 10 cups of coffee, blood pressure got way low, needed the oxygen mask a couple times, Jarett's shoulder got stuck so they brought in the vacuum suction, umbilical cord was wrapped around Jarett's neck twice and he was face up so when he came out his entire head was one big, purple bruise -- that also led to jaundice) BUT all was well because my epidermal worked like a charm and Tim was right by my side the entire time!!!! Baby Jett...thanks for being a part of our family, we all adore you!!

THANKSGIVING...

This year we cancelled all plans, traditions, and Black Friday shopping and went to our condo in McCall for Turkey Day. I wish we were still there...it was an amazing weekend and a great get-a-way to remember all I have to be grateful for!!! Uncle Dan and Aunt Shannon (really more like my big sister) and their boys came with us and I think the pictures say it all. We spent the whole time sledding, eating, swimming, hot tubbing (one right on our back balcony...easy kid entertainment!) playing games and vegging out in front of the television. Thanks Dan, Shannon, Tanner and Jake and especially thanks to Shan for taking pictures the whole time!!

HiGhLiGhTs...

I'll do the best I can to highlight the last six months (in just a post or two)...
*Tim and I run the Wenatchee 1/2 marathon
*Find out we are pregnant!!! (probably shouldn't have run....)
*Jarom and Tim have a birthday
*Enjoy a crazy and incredibly fun-filled summer which included:
Swim lessons
LOTS of riding horses
Trip to Jake and Erryn's house for birth of new nephew Ashton.
Trip to Wyoming for Pioneer Trek with youth from our church.
Trip to Washington (about three of those actually)
Week trip for Tim and I to an amazing Golf resort and Spa and Seattle for our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!
Tim runs in The Hood To Coast relay (160 miles I believe)
2 weddings...
*Kid's start school: Taylor in 3rd grade, Jarom in 1st grade and Tacen in pre-school.
*Find out we are having ANOTHER boy (and yes we are way excited about it!!!)
*Kids participate in their first fun run (1 mile long....Jarom finished so fast he got an extra prize)
*Jarom plays flag football for the first time
*Taylor learns her first song on the violin
*Halloween (Taylor: Witch, Jarom: Pirate, Tacen: Fireman)
*Harvest Family Fun
*Taylor turns 9 years old!!!! (bowling/pizza party to celebrate)
