welcome 2011

so like most of you are admitting i've neglected the blog as well. i love looking at friend's and family's blogs that live away. it helps me stay connected to them. so here are some snapshots of the last couple of months. in october we celebrated gage, josie, and tate's birthday along with halloween; in november we enjoyed cody's family celebrating thanksgiving with us and going down to mexico; in december we loved having kids that were old enough to grasp the whole spirit of christmas and partied with all my peeps here and then down in mexico again. with all the fun and parties, i am glad that life seems to have slowed down a bit. i have a lot to be thankful for and already have some fun plans ahead for 2011:
-a cruise with my parents, siblings and spouses
-del sol ragnar
-photography workshops
this is going to be a great year, and so happy that i won't be preggo for most of it.

i was so late with christmas cards this year that i just ordered a handful for mostly the people that live out of town. but i was happy with the way it turned out and thank sarah for designing such a lovely card. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

our summer vacation!

we headed up to utah and stayed with jad (cody's bro) for a couple of days and then headed on up to idaho where we had a fab time with the startins. there we went camping, hiking, swimming in a natural hot spring, played and picked at grandma's garden, and spent time visiting cody's old high school buddies. next we went up to island park and met up with all my peeps. we boated, rode the water weiney (sorry for landing on you kolby), jet skiied, went on a helicopter ride, visited west yellowstone, and played fun games. so we pretty much had a total blast and were spoiled with fantastic weather. coming home was bitter sweet for sure. can't wait til next year.

happy 4th

we decided last minute to head up to payson for some cool weather and fireworks. it was sweet! there was a rockin band, plenty of cool grass to play on, and a darn good fireworks display. they did not disappoint.

it seems like i only post pics when we go down to rocky point. i guess that is pretty much our only excitement in life.
