Still getting Smaller

The weight keeps coming off.  I am happy to say I am down 37 lbs.  My goal for this week is to loose 3 lbs which will put me at 40lbs.  Yesterday I did really well and worked out and even did 12,555 steps.  But today I have been slaking I didn't work out and I also cheated and had 2 doughnuts :( . No worries I am still go strong.  I am down to a size 16.  :) SO HAPPY

2 Week Post op

Measurements - Waist - 47inches, Hips- 52, Chest -46 1/2 inches, Arms- 16 inches, Thighs - 25 1/2 inches

That is a total of 14 inches !!

9 Days Post Sleeve.

 Today was my post op appointment at Doctor Kim's office. Everything went well. I weighted in 20 lbs lighter today !!!! I also got my staples out. 20 lbs in 3 weeks. I have started walking 30 minutes a day. It feels good to taking care of my self again. I feel like I am finally doing something for me.

Day 6 after Gastric Sleeve Surgery This morning after a shower I put on a pair of pants. The pants are a size 18 and before surgery they were tight and uncomfortable. This morning I put them on a they fit well again. Even a little loose. Tears welled up in my eyes as I buttoned them. Tears of joy. Tears of happiness in knowing that deep down I have done the right thing for me. I am proud of myself. My recovery is going well. I am off the pain killers and trying to get back to normal routine. I am taking it slow and doing what I can. Today I am planning to go grocery shopping.

Gastric Sleeve Journey

So I am 3 days out of surgery. The surgery went well. The only thing I remember is them saying was "we are going back to the OR now" Then I woke up in recovery in pain. Not terrible pain but it was pain none the less. During the gastric sleeve surgery they also fixed my Hitial Hernia. Which come to find out was the cause of allot of my belly problems and reflux for all these year. So I now have 1/3 a stomach. Was it worth? The pain is getting allot better but the first day or so it was hard. I think the gas pain was worse than the actual surgery pain. I was up and walking about 3 hours after surgery and the continued to make me walk every 2 hours. I am very thankful for the pain medication. I spent 2 nights in the hospital because they could not get my blood pressure to stabilize. But they did and I am home. On the same day I cam home Matt and Lanae both came down with the stomach flu. YUCK !! But they are better now and we are all recovering well. I am still on a clear liquid diet until Tuesday. Then I can go back to the protein shakes for 2 weeks then I can have BABY FOOD !!!!. One step at a time. I am happy I did it. But it is not a easy road that is for sure. I am down 14 pounds as of Yesterday. I am continue to loss. Tonight I went and bought my easter outfit a size smaller :) I am so happy SO YES IT IS WORTH IT !!!!

Today has been a hard day. Even tears for really no reason. I have to remember it will all be well worth it
