A Break
I have decided to switch company's for making my blog into a book. So, between that and my chat books I don't have a strong desire to blog. I am caught up on my family book and that is what matters. So, I am not going to go back and add everything from the last few months. I may just start from scratch or I may just use it more for journaling. I am pretty sure no one reads this anymore so it is probably not that big of a deal anyway.

An Experiance
I went to do a session at the Timpanogas Temple while all the kids were at school. I was able to do an endowment for Olga Muriel Jones. My great Aunt. As I was sitting in the chapel I had about 45 min to wait before the next session, so I had a lot of silent thinking and pondering. I read some much needed scripture and felt the spirit. As I was sitting there I started to feel a sadness. I felt a sadness at the loss of my Grandpa Ted and Papa Ken. I felt a sadness that we weren't as close as I had wished. And that they didn't really know me. I felt a sadness that I am not as close to other living family members who make no effort to be a part of my life. I felt true mourning and loneliness. As I was praying and sitting in my thoughts I felt the distinct knowledge of knowing that I was not alone. I didn't know who or what it was, but I felt an instant well of love being poured upon me. And with that, the knowledge that I have many many ancestors who love and appreciate me and are watching over me. At one point I felt like I was being hugged and surrounded in love. I knew it was my family around me although I have no knowledge of which ones. It was something I have never felt before and I want to always remember. The work we do is important. I know I have many on the other side just waiting for me to do the work. It is kind of stressful and overwhelming at times knowing there are so many. I just keep focusing on the welcoming on the other side when I will get to meet all of my family and finally put face to a name.

Headed to AZ
I love packing for a trip..not. It is so much work. At least I can keep the kids busy by movies and food right? We started the first day at Kevin's PA School graduation. We are so proud of him and all of his hard work. We were also able to go out on the town with Jarrom and Charla and Chaundra and Cory. We went to a comedy club that was less tasteful then we hoped and then out to donuts. The next day we were able to go to the blessing of our little sweet niece Navy. It was a great day for family. We had a yummy lunch and dinner and just let the kids play.By the next day the kids were just zonked out. The next day we spent pretty much all day in the pool. The kids LOVED night swimming and we had never done that before. It was a short but fun trip. We kinda felt rushed to get back because school was starting. But now that school is starting I just want to be back swimming and having fun in AZ.

Hotter Than HECK
Originally Randy was suppose to ride this 100 Mile Hotter than heck race with me last year. But the race just happen to fall on the exact same day as my Grandpa Ted's Funeral. So thankfully we were able to defer it to this year. The bad part was that Randy was not able to take the day off of work. We didn't find it out until about 2 weeks before the ride. So I asked my Aunt Kay Lea to step in. She of course did because she is always up for a challenge and willing try anything. Neither of us had the practiced saddle time needed but we were so pumped to do it. It started at the Adobe building in Lehi at 6:45 am and went around Utah Lake. At one point we could clearly see the Payson Temple and ride right by the Timpanogas Temple. It is amazing how far you can ride on a bike. Kay lea was on a mountain bike so it took twice the effort of my road bike. She was such a trooper. We stopped for a quick lunch at mile 50 determined to get to at least 60. But I kept pushing and we made it to 80. I really feel like I could have done the full 100 but we were so far behind at that point I felt like it was unsafe to ride just the 2 of us on such a busy highway. I almost died at least 5 times already. I feel lot more confident in traffic when I am riding in a pack. Anyway, I loved every minute of it. I would do it again in a heart beat. And, getting to do it with Kay Lea was just awesome.
Around mile 70. At the end we were stopping every 10 miles to rest.
Literally in the middle of nowhere. I think around mile 60.
Somewhere around mile 26
