I don't know why I think this is the funniest thing in the world. I got it on my phone so I only got 15 seconds. Jay just started talking funny. He is saying, " I like root beer, and chicken nuggets and french fries!" I think this is why we are such little pals. We make each other laugh all the time.

Beautiful Day
Funny that you would hear me of all people say that weather in the 50's was beautiful. I loved it. I spent all day out side. Jay and I even got sunburned. We went to the park for church play group, then went over to Shelly's to let the kids ride bikes. Jamison got this Spiderman bike and cars helmet for Christmas and is just now getting to really test them out. It was so nice out, I even got to wear flip flops. Here are a few pics.

Our new TV!!!!!

Randy and I have been wanting a plasma for so long. After many discussions of whether it was reasonable or if we could afford it we finally made a decision, and said lets just do this.
So, we went to DI and bought a new TV for 25 bucks. Yeah right....you thought we actually bought the plasma. You must not know us frugal folk very well. The only reason we even had to buy a new one was because the tube went out on our other TV. It was either buy a new one or use the old one and just listen to the sound...which got really annoying. I am grateful to have something. Plus, it actually works pretty well. R.I.P. old TV!

Happy V-Day!
Jamison and I had fun decorating the house for Randy. He had to work at Eagle Mtn. so he was able to come home at 7:00pm. We made hearts. The ones I love the best are the ones Jay made that say," I love Mom and Dad." He loved Valentines Day, even though we didn't really do anything too special. Rans brought home pizza and bread sticks and we had root beer. That is a treat for us! I also gave Rans and Jay little candies. The pic of the big candy bar, I made the wrapper. It was a fun little project.
Jay kept begging me to take his pic????

IT'S A .........

Jay took this one...not too bad.

GIRL!!!!!!!!
I am now about 20 weeks! You can really see the belly starting too show. I am now watching my weight very closely so I don't have another 65 pound weight gain. Yesterday was my first "have to have right now craving." It was for apple cobbler. I even drove to the store in the snow in pursuit of it. All I want to eat is sweet fruit. I think I eat a can of peaches a day. The Ultra sound was awesome and we got a DVD of the whole thing. The baby is breech right now but has plenty of time to turn. She kept waving at us and it was so cute. The ultrasound pics are not that great because they are really shiny so it is hard to get a good pic. Our little skeleton baby. We are in search of baby names so please offer any suggestions you might have. We are so excited!

What I love about Randy
*Since it is our anniversary I thought I should write something for rememberance
I love That:
- He is handy. That he can actually fix something when it breaks even when I have spent the whole day trying to fix it. (And he does it in like 2 seconds.)
- He makes the best cookies in the world...I mean award winning.
-He has freckles in his blue eyes
-Sometimes when he laughs he sounds like Scooby Doo.
-He's ticklish
-He will shave his face just because he knows I don't like it scratchy on my face.
-He thinks a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is just a "snack."
-He likes a clean house just as much as I do.
-He still tells me when he thinks I look cute.
-He gets my humor, and laughs even when I am not trying to be funny.
-He loves Jamison with all his heart and is a great Father.
-I can just give him one look and he knows exactly what I am thinking.
-We have our own little codes for things and that people have no idea what they mean.
-After eight years, I still love these things about him.
-I get to be with him forever...

A little of everything...it's a lot
Panic:
So the other day Jay was feeling a little bit sick. I think it may have just been allergies so we gave him some Benadryl. I was tired, like always, so I retired to what Randy and I call the "dungeon" ( our bedroom.) Jay was watching TV in the living room and Randy was in the kitchen.( That's right ladies...cooking dinner.) About an hour later I come out and ask Randy where Jay is. He says, "I thought he went in to lay down with you?" I said, "No, I thought he was with you." Now, our house is by no means large so it took a total of 15 seconds to search the whole house before I decided he was A) Kidnapped, or B) Went out side, got hit by a car and was lying somewhere in the street crying for me. Luckily, I have a husband who doesn't panic in stressful situations and randomly checked behind our couch. There he was. He had fallen asleep between the couch and the wall. It was so weird because he never goes back there. Needless to say I picked up my heart and put it back in my chest. I never want to feel that 15 seconds again. I think that is worst feeling in the world.
Congrats:
On Friday Randy had a little badge ceremony at work. He has now been there a year and is no longer the "rookie." ( Which is kinda weird because he had to go through the same thing in Richardson too.) So, it goes with out saying he was excited. He had some guys from his crew there, Captains and such. We had some goodies and then it was back to work. I think I am a curse because every time I am at the station they get a call. As soon as I get the pictures I will post how cute he looks!
Pregnancy Woes:
So after about an hour of getting home from the station, I start feeling a optical migraine coming on. First, I see wavy lines and then lose my peripheral vision, then everything is blurry. Since I knew it was coming I took 2 Tylenol and went and laid down. ( Normally the only thing that can stop it is sleep, but I was home alone with Jay.) So I laid there for a while when my hands started getting numb. This normal for me with head aches. But, about 20 min later my left leg went completely numb. Then, the left side of my face went numb. ( Lips, tongue and all.) I was starting to get worried seeing as my face was drooping and my speech was slurred. So I called the doctor and they told me to come in right away or go to the emergency room. I opted for the OB because they knew my history better. So thankfully I called up my bro in law Kevin to take me to the doctor. I was SO lucky to have him because I didn't know who else I could call, last min ,who didn't have 3-5 kids to bring along. So blessed I was, he came right away. By the time I got to the Doctor Randy was able to get a sub and meet me there. We had to wait a bit because the Doctor was in surgery at the hospital down the street. basically when he saw me he said everything I was experiencing was do to my migraine. I mean the head ache was bad but really? I guess since I only have those symptoms when I have a head ache it is all pregnancy related. So he ended up giving me a shot in the hip of Demerol and Fenergren. I left in hand with a Rx for percoset for my next head ache? What? I just wanted to take Tylenol and they are giving me street candy. I don't know if I will fill it or not but at least it will stop me from my face being paralysed. The shot made me really happy. My head ache was gone by the time I left the office. When I got home I got a little throw up sick, but that was the lesser of two evils. I went to bed at seven and don't remember much. I am so lucky to have Randy ( and Kevin for that matter) to take such good care of me.
Anniversary:
So yesterday, Randy and I celebrated our anniversary. It is really not until tomorrow, but he has to work so we chose yesterday as our celebrate day. EIGHT years if you can believe it? We kinda did the lame old people cop out of dinner and a movie. For 1.) Because we are lame. 2.) We wanted to be home early, so we went to a matinee. 3.) We wanted to beat the rush Saturday dinner traffic.4) We didn't want anything too exciting in fear of my head ache returning.
My Aunt Kelly watched Jay for us which was so awesome. We went to Olive Garden which I love. I had an Italian soda that was so yummy and good, but was not my friend and hour later. All in all it was a good night.
Sunday:
After such a wild night Randy and I remembered that we had to give talks in church. I of course wrote mine the Sunday I found out I had to give one (2 weeks ago), and Rans waited until last night to write his. So, he didn't go to bed until late, but we both took shifts handling Jamison. He woke up in the middle of the night with growing pains in his legs again. Randy took the first shift and didn't know the usual routine when it comes to these. So I took a crack and he went back to bed. The trick is have him lay next to me in bed with a heating pad on his legs and rub his legs and back until he is about to fall asleep. Then I say "OK, time to get in your bed, if your legs hurt again come snuggle mom." He always goes back to his bed and sleeps through the night...poor kid.
So, Randy and I were really tired Sunday morning, I still had the belly ache from the night before, but somehow we managed to make it through. I think I did OK and I know Randy did great.

Don't Freak Out!!!!
OK, sorry to scare most of you, but calm down. I may have spoken too soon about blogger vs. Blurb and all that. I have done a LOT of research and I am finding blurb still to be the best. The problem came when they did a whole update of there system. If you now download the newest version of Booksmart 1.9.9 everything will be a OK. They will still work with blogger. ( They must have had a lot of complaints.) I will also probably use them again because I want all my books to look the same. ( Thanks for the idea Sarah.) I think the pricing is still pretty good. You can easily check out the pricing at blurb. I am now trying to find out how to get coupons on shipping and stuff so if I figure it out I will let you know. I am not an expert, but I have made 3 books total and have been happy with the quality of all of them. My fav is the hardback with the cover. The image wrap is cool, but way more expensive. Let me know what you guys think or if you have questions.

Blog Book
Well I finally got my 2008 blog book. It is about 200 pages. I got the smaller one just to test and make sure I liked it. I think it turned out pretty well. I am a little disappointed with blurb. First, they double charged me, which I had to get fixed. Then, when I received my book, it was my cover and someone elses book inside. So about 2 weeks later I finally got my correct book. The good news is that blurb was pretty quick to return my emails. I just don't think I will use blurb again. Especially now that they are having problems uploading blogger. Here are a few pics of what it looks like. (Jamison did a good job holding it open for me.)
