Jay's 5K
Jay's school had a 5K fund raiser for better technology at their school. I think it was a hit. Randy got to run with him and so did Uncle Kevin, Aunt Jessie and Lexi. jenny and I sat on the side lines and cheered. Jay has been excited about this run for like a month. He actually did really well. Like most kids he wanted to sprint at first and then lost all of his energy. Randy tried to keep him paced and moved him along. I think they did it in about 40 min which was excellent if you count walking/rest time for Jay. (Jessie and Lex did half the race and then came and hung out with me because Jessie had already put in 11.5 miles that morning for training for her race.) The weather was decent and I totally look forward to it next year. We we SOOO proud of Jay. They did give out trophy's for first place but it was really hard to monitor and I believe the kid that won only did one loop instead of 2. I think Jay's time was awesome compared to most the kids!

Dance
Jay had a dance festival at school. I was totally unaware of it until the day before. I had no idea it was outside or that you should bring your own chair. I lucked out by getting a good parking spot and a chair. My view however was less to be desired. With the stroller and my belly I was really unmotivated to get up close and get better pictures. So it is what it is. The first grade did a dance to "I heard it through the grapevine" and the goal was for them to look like California Raisins. It was cute and they did get to switch around positions so we could see him better. Rans had to work, but Aunt Jessie, Lexi and Jents were my date.

33-36 Weeks
33 Weeks- I am huge. Even my big clothes are getting to small. My hands and feet have been swelling a little more but it could be because I have been outside doing yard work and stuff. Feeling good...just feeling like I should have this baby tomorrow.
34 Weeks - Things now are on the down hill slope of this baby arriving. Had my Dr. appt and YAY! baby's head is down! I was so excited to hear this after thinking I might have to have a C section. Dr. P and I discussed all of our options as far as inducing and what not and we are not making any decisions until my 36 week check. It has kinda been a back and forth because I have that my due date should be June 15th but they moved it to June 22nd. My 20 week ultrasound however showed June 16th. They won't change it back unless there is a 10 day difference. Dr. P isn't worried about that except for the fact that the baby is now measuring small. I was 34 weeks and the baby is measuring 31 weeks. Tell a Mama that you are adding 3 weeks to her due date is like asking to put a gun to her head. (Dramatic I know.) He thinks the baby is now measuring smaller because he stretched out when he flipped. SO we shall see. I am thinking however that I will FOR SURE have this baby by June 15th. I hope I am "ripe" by my next visit. Normally by 36 weeks I have always been at least 2 cent. Cross you fingers.
35 Weeks- I am tired. I catch myself drooling at night because I am sleeping so hard. I have to wake up about every 2 hours to pee. Swelling more, but also trying to drink lots of water. My wedding ring is too snug to fit comfortably. Still taking a shower/bath every night at like 2-3 in the morning.
36 Weeks- Saw Dr. Parker today the best Dr. on earth. I am dilated to 2 centimeters, 70 % effaced and at station -1. That boy is LOW! He said I could deliver today I was so ripe. But, the baby is still measuring small so he said I need to keep him in there as long as I can. He did set me up with the hospital to be induced June 16th. Honestly I don't think that I will last that long. He might just fall out by then. Please pray for me that I can have the patience this baby needs.

Red Dragons
Jamison started soccer a few weeks ago and has been doing really well. I think playing everyday at recess has really honed his skills. This past Saturday he scored a goal which he was more then thrilled about. I think he had a smile on his face all day. He is still grasping what position he is playing at the time and the real rules of soccer, but he is having so much fun.

Randy's Race
Randy and Kevin Ran the Utah Timp Trail 1/2 Marathon on Saturday. The weather ended up being beautiful. it was pretty muddy and lots of up and down hill but they still managed to make pretty good time. The kids and I were about 5 min late in missing them cross the finish line since Jay had a soccer game. Luckily Jessie got some pics so I will post those when I get them. This is Randy's 4th race and he is also running the top of Utah with his sister Karen in September. I hope to do this race next year along with a few others if I can whip my body back into shape.

Mama's Day
I wouldn't put it in the category of the most awesome Mother's Day ever, but I was happy, content and more then satisfied. Randy had to work so I got up and made the kiddies pancakes for breakfast. Jay helped and tried really hard to help. Then we got ready for church. Church was a little crazy because well, without Randy it's always hard. Jensen wanted everything she couldn't have and Jay was getting mad that she was taking everything he had...I don't blame him. A couple of meltdowns later, off to nursery where I became free. Church was great and very touching. Afterwards the kids and I went over to Kevin and Jessie's house where they made a more then gourmet meal. It was this awesome chicken recipe with cheese inside and then sun dried tomatoes, basil, onions and feta cheese on top with potatoes and home made rolls. It was SO good and the best part was that I didn't have to do it. That was a Mother's Day present in itself. Thanks again guys, you are awesome. I should mention that the last day before Rans went to work he got me some slippers, comfy pillow and a laundry drying rack. ALL which I needed and appreciated. Jamison had wrote me a card that said:
Mom,
I love you. Your the best persone in the worlde.
Love, jamison
I love that he added an "e" to everything and that it was so simple. It gave me a little tear in my eye. The thought of any one thinking I am the best person in the world, let alone my son, is the best feeling. I love my kids more than life and can't imagine not being their Mom. I feel beyond blessed everyday for the sweet spirits that were sent to me, and that Heavenly Father is trusting me with another one of his gifts. My heart goes out to all women mothers or not for just being who they are. I truly believe that we are all princesses, daughters of a Heavenly King.

I am already regretting this....
Yikes. I did it. I wasn't going to post this but SO many people have been asking I thought, what the heck, I've had 3 kids, we all know it aint going to be pretty. I also took out a few hundred stretch marks and turned it black and white so you can't really see where my skin is stretched to its maximum capacity. My belly button is now completely inside out. Randy and I call it the "Weenis" (Don't ask for an explanation.) It's kinda odd because I took it of myself in the mirror hence the funny angel. But there you have it folks. I can now die knowing that I have done something truly daring in my life!

Yard work
Our yard had some serious issues when we moved in. Because no one had lived in in for over a year it was really sad. So, we have spent a lot of time working on it and it looks like we haven't done anything. We had to spend a lot of time gutting it. I forgot to take a before picture but my drawing should do it complete justice. We took out 6 rose bushes that were on there last legs, 5 straw unknown mystery bushes, and about 1,000 weeds. You can see by the pic that we have some random rhubarb growing and "patches" of flower bulbs. We planted the 2 little trees that look like Christmas trees and some Juniper. (Randy bought me the Juniper plants because he knew that the smell of Juniper reminds me of the bushes that my Grandma Imy had in front of her house in Albuquerque.) It has been a lot of work, but since we love doing yard work it was also kinda fun. I have been sore in my back and arms form hoeing. ( Don't worry I am not pushing it.) On this day it was 75 degrees, beautiful, and Jay said it was the hottest day he has ever felt. He's like, "It is so hot out here my head is just so sweaty." I'm telling him, just you wait buddy. Funny that it did feel super hot since we have been getting used to 40 degree weather. The kids melting in the heat eating their, what Jents' calls,"Gock-gick-gulls"
I LOVE how much they love each other.
Randy burning what seemed to be thousands of rose bushes in our fire pit.

Jents and her fashion
Jensen has been driving me crazy lately with her fashion needs. It is so funny because she will undress from whatever I have put on her, rummage through her clothes and put on the most random outfit. It never matches and it is like she does it on purpose just to make me laugh. She is really fussy about shoes also. She always wants her shoes on... even to take a bath. Like always as soon as I get the camera out she has to strike a pose.
