Jay
Jay had a a music performance at school. One where the parents come and watch. He said he wanted to dance. I suggested that he do something that he learned from his drum lesson...he insisted on dancing. I asked if he had a routine or music he wanted and he assured me he had it taken care of. I even tried to call and email the teacher to make sure of what he was supposed to do. Well, we showed up not knowing what to expect and we got a show indeed! We were so proud of him and that he wasn't even embarrassed. The kids loved him and thought he was a rock star!

What the...
Jensen back at work. I came into her room because she had been "napping" for longer than usual. She was so quietly destroying. She opened her closet, got out all her toys and clothes and sprinkled them with magic baby powder. The entire bottle was gone. I really didn't think she could reach it...guess I was wrong.

A little visit
We we able to have Randy's sister Karen and her family up for the weekend from California. Randy's Mom Jeanna also came with them and Randy's Dad, Mike met up with us later on. They came up so Karen could run the Top of Utah Marathon with Randy. Kevin and Jessie also ran it. More pics of that to come. It was a jammed packed weekend with the race, Lexi's birthday party and Cort's blessing.

Lego my Eggo
I looked over at Jensen and she had her finger almost fully up her nose. I told her twice to stop picking her nose when she said, "Mama lego." I looked down at what she was playing with and saw all the legos there and soon had relief. I thought I should probably be safe and I took out a pin light and looked up her nose. Sure enough I saw a bright orange object jammed up her nose. I used all of my motherly knowledge to try and get it out. I called Randy to see if the station had some sort of tool that would get it out. He ended up sending his buddy Jason over (who was like 2 minutes from my house) to see if he could do anything. But, nope. It was WAY too far up there. I called the doctor and the soonest that they could see was 7:00pm. (2 1/2 hours later!) I waited it out and then my cousin Lynsey came over to watch Cort and Jay while I took her. She was really brave, but screamed the whole time.It took 4 adults to pin her down while the Dr. took the alligator tool to her nose.It took a good 20 mins of trying. The Dr. said I was going to have to take her to the ER because he couldn't get it. I said a little prayer in my heart and on the next try he was able to grab it. Turns out it was a mini skate board wheel, even bigger then I had thought it was. Afterwards she got a sucker and was happy to be done. Now she says to me, " Mama, lego..nose..sucker." Hopefully she doesn't shove anything else up there hoping to get a sucker! What am I going to do with her?
