Even though sick, Cort still had a sense of humor, turning his plug the wrong way.
More then a week of pure misery and dare I say HELL. One night I woke up in the middle of the night feeling the most gut wrenching stomach ache. I made a bed in the bath room all night. By morning I could barely lift my head up. I called Randy crying to come home even though he was 2 hours away in Dugway. There was no way I was going to make it. He came home, doctored me up with fluids and then had to be on his way back to work. I was dying. I hadn't slept all night and I was in no condition to take care of my kids. I called my Aunt Kay Lea desperately to come and help me until Cass got off of work. By this time I had a fever and felt like death. Kay Lea made me some home made chicken soup and did my dishes. Bless her. Cass then came over to take her turn. I was starting to feel better with some food in me. Then, Cort started puking. And he puked all. night. long. I think I finally fell asleep around 5am. I had to hold him the whole night because any time I put him down he threw up. That throw up bowl was a life saver. The next day he felt better, but it was Jenny's turn. She really had one good puke and she was done. She fell asleep on my lap for a few hours and then was better. Then the next night, Jay and Cass had their turns. Jay again threw up all night. I am talking every 15 min. poor poor Jay. He kept crying out, "Is this the last time?" I felt so bad not being able to give him an answer. We finally said a prayer for comfort and Jay was able to relax and fall asleep. That was around 4am. Cass was up all night too. The price she paid for being nurse maid. I would not have been able to make it with out her. (Randy was working everyday and couldn't take off..talk about timing) So, we thought we were good...that this nasty bug from Hell was gone. Until a few days later when Lacey, My mom, Randy, my cousin London and my Uncle Teddy all got it. I am still waiting to see if there are other carrier monkeys out there. I did also find out at the exact same time I had it, my dear friend Nichole and her family were going through the same thing. We had hung out a few days before, but we have no clue what the source was. Needless to say it was a living nightmare. I went days with out any sleep at all and didn't shower for 3 days at one point. I spent my life cleaning up throw up and barely surviving. Bless my neighbors and friends who brought me dinner and groceries. I so desperately needed them.

Splash Pad
A while back we went to the Splash Pad with my friend Megan and her kiddos. We had such a great time snacking in between the water shut offs. Jessie and Lexi were also there along with my neighbor Charlotte and her kids.

Jay Braces
I know I have shown you a pic before but this is Jay on the actual day he got his braces. He got red and blue and he has 4 of them. When his 2 top teeth come down he will then have 6. He will have to wear them for about 9 months along with the expander he already has in. He has been such a trooper and now he is totally used to them.

Grammie
Randy's Mom Jeanna came for a quick little visit. Randy took a fast trip to Sacramento/Auburn/Napa with Jenny and Jay. Grammie then rode back with him for some company. We had a family dinner one Sunday and the cousins had so much fun playing together. These are a few random moments.

Animal Farm
My friend Nichole and I took the kiddos to the animal farm at Thanksgiving point. We packed a little lunch, looked at all the animals and went for a few rides. First they rode some ponies. Jensen hated it the whole time. She wouldn't let me leave her side. Jamison picked the smallest horse in the joint....totally his character. Nichole's kids Brielle and Beckam were so brave, rode the biggest horses, no hands. We will get there some day. Afterwards we went for a little wagon ride around the property. We loved the little goat they had out to pet and all of the exploring the kids got to do.
