One night when the fam was here we went over to Uncle Ted's for a Low country boil. You cook a bunch of stuff in a pot and dump it out on the table. You put butter on everything and then go.to.town. So freaken good.

I am really lacking in the photo department with Jay's baptism honestly because I wanted to just enjoy it and not be such a picture nazi. Yes, I regret it, but that day I knew it would make my family happy to not have to take a billion pics. The ward got 1 picture of Randy and Jay in front of the font and that is all I care about. Jay thought is was like the most fun day ever. After the baptism we went back to our house and ate donuts, hot chocolate and aple cider, YUM.

Halloween

Or as Jensen calls it...Hal-o-ween-a. This is my little lego, lady bug and puppy. This year I went out on  a limb and made Jay's costume. We went over a few ideas and then he decided this is what he wanted to be. Jenny didn't have a choice and was a lady bug 3 years in a row....rock it. We got this cute puppy costume from my friend Nichole. The Tandy's and the Bell's came along trick or treating and we walked around our little neighborhood.

This is my neighbor who dressed up and posed as a statue. It was super creepy and awesome.

Afterward we went back to our house and hung out. The neighbors made hot dogs root beer and scones. Cortland looked like a zombie baby after all the candy. It sure was a fun night!

Hallow Parade

Image
Jay was one of the first in line for his parade as a LEGO. He was so busy waving to the croud that he didn't even see us there. Afterwards we went to his class room to tell him we were there but he was so distracted giving his friends hi fives that he missed us again. At least we could see he was having a blast. I made his costume this year, it is not a work of art, but it got the job done.

Carving Pumpkins

The day before Halloween we carved pumpkins. I stuck with the tradition Jack-O-Lantern and Randy went with this awesome dragon. Sometimes he has hidden talents I still don't know about. The kids thought it was so fun, but hated touching the guts. Our hands were actually burning with the slime on them because they have been so chapped from the cold. I think they turned out pretty well though...

Spooky Pre School

Jensen is loving Preschool. On this day they got to practice trick or treating and had a little parade and show for the parents. Jenny was a lady bug and her BFF Ruby was an angel. They were all so cute!

Anotha Pun Kin Patch

My friend Lindsey and I took the kids to the ol patch when our husbands were on shift. (They work together.) The kids had such a fun time. They had a bug corn maze, blow up bounce houses, slides and a  spooky light display. These kids are crazy when they get together because they have so much fun!

Scout

Jay is a cub scout now...it kills me that he is so big. Doesn't he look 17?
