Date with a Hottie for 13 Years

This day was just awesome. It was the longest Rans and I have been with out the kids for a year and a half. For our wonderful 13th anniversary Rans mom Jeanna cme to town as a surprise for Randy. She was great enough to watch the kids for us. First we headed up to Solider Hollow to do a little tubing. It was a BLAST. Randy and I had never been nor done anything like this together. We felt like kids. We would run and jump as much as we could then try to somehow grab on to each other to make the weight carry us faster down the hill. Randy pushed me so hard one time that I totally came off my tube. Man it was fun. When I first told Randy that this is what I wanted to do he kinda thought I was a weirdo. But I am so glad we did it.
Afterwards we went to Marleys Sliders for lunch, ran a few errands and the hit the new Jack Ryan movie. After that we stuffed ourselves with cupcakes and Randy had ice cream. It was one of the best days in a long time. Randy also surprised me with a KINDLE for my reading addiction :)

SNOW

My best little snow bunnies. One night it just dumped on us. I didn't even know snow was in the forecast so when I woke up to this I was not happy. Luckily I had no where to be but home. The snow had stopped and the kids had been begging me for weeks to take them out in the snow. This day it wasn't absolutely freezing so I said OK. We started with our drive way then moved on to the street and the Winter's drive way. ( They are our elderly neighbors.) I didn't use the four wheeler because it is just to hard to keep track of the kids when I am on it. So, I got my work out and a sore back. I think we were out there for 3 hours. The kids loved it. They kept trying to eat the snow even though I was telling them that they were basically eating deer poop. They were like little frozen popsicles but it was a good excuse to come in and drink some hot chocolate!

Scheels

This place was awesome and the kids loved it. So many things to do and for free. Jay played soccer, we looked at bikes for Randy and held some big fish. This bear was pretty cool too. Jay was too scared to go on the Ferris wheel so it kinda ruined it for the rest of the kids. Maybe next time.

A Sunday of Cute Kids

-Jenny at the dentist. Still no cavities!
-Cort getting a drink!
-One night the sky was actually clear. I miss seeing things like the sky and mountains and trees and my hand in front of my face.
-The kids doing their homework
-Snuggling, snuggling and more snuggling
-My new scarf, out cruising
-Brothers love
-Lots of laundry all day all the time
-What my kids may or may not eat
-Jenny's trying her new curlers out for a spin
-Red faced Cort?
-All of my oils. I am practically a doctor.

LOST... one tooth

Last time Jenny went to the dentist he told us she had a couple of really loose teeth. We kinda brushed it off as nothing. Until last week she was saying how wiggly her teeth were. Well I checked them again today and almost freaked out. They were so loose I was afraid she was going to swallow them. One was a lot more loose then the other so we only pulled one.Sad, sad day. She is getting so big it actually brings a tear to my eye. Oh how I love this little girl.

Picture Sunday

We had the prettiest day we have had in a while. The sun was out and it was 60 degrees. I couldn't help but drag the family out for a few pics. Today was a great Sunday with lots of small moments of feeling very blessed.

I really have been meaning to update this. I have a ton of pics from February, but my iphone is not connecting to my new lap top correctly and I have a fear if I use my old computer it may just explode. I have also been doing a lot of family history lately and working on a new project that occupies all of my computer time. And then, kids, scouts, camp, taxes, bills, laundry, cleaning ...blah blah blah...I am bored thinking of all the little things that occupy my time.
So, soon..or not...I will keep you guessing :)
