We operate on a closed-cart model — meaning, registration is open only four times a year when new members can join COMPEL Pro Writers Training. We also occasionally have one-day flash registration sales. At COMPEL Pro, creating a supportive, connected community for our writers where engagement and conversation leads to supportive friendships is one of our biggest priorities. COMPEL Pro offers invaluable training to help propel you to the next level in your writing journey. Our training library is set up as Learning Pathways, where you’ll progress through a series of lessons about a particular topic, from beginning to advanced material, to help you grow in your knowledge of the topics most important to you. Each lesson provides an assignment to help you practically apply what you’ve learned. Once a Learning Pathway is completed, you’ll not only be more knowledgeable about the subject but you’ll receive a completion certificate so you can always keep track of your progress and how much you’re learning and growing!

We have a selection of topic-focused Learning Pathways for you to enroll in and walk through at your own pace. These lessons cover all aspects related to being a writer, including topics such as the foundations of writing, helpful techniques, secrets of the publishing industry, expanding your reach, teaching and writing the Word, and social media strategies. In addition to practical training, you’ll be encouraged and motivated by lessons that can help you set yourself up for success, overcome obstacles, and stop procrastinating in following God’s call. 

Yes! Two times per year, COMPEL Pro members are invited to walk through a Pathway Cohort in a group environment with hands-on guidance, live webinars and engagement. In this Cohort, you’ll enjoy learning in real time with fellow members and the COMPEL Pro Leadership Team, getting your questions answered, participating in live webinars and doing so much more! This is a unique learning experience you will not want to miss, where you can make actual progress in learning and advancing in your writing knowledge! All lessons and webinars will be available at any time on the COMPEL Pro website.

Yes! However, writers at every level will benefit from COMPEL Pro. No matter where you are in your writing journey, whether you’re a beginning writer or a writer with some experience or publications under your belt, COMPEL Pro can equip you to take the next step.

Although our primary focus is nonfiction, much of our training will help teach and equip all writers regardless of their focus. We address the artistic and practical aspects of writing as well as teach about the publishing industry as a whole. We also offer the opportunity to join our Fiction Community Group, where you can connect with other writers who are in the world of fiction as well.

No, unfortunately. We understand stretched budgets, and while we would love to be able to offer scholarships or discounts, we would need money donated in order to do so. Should that time come, we will post this information on our website.

You can log in to the COMPEL Pro website by using the “Log In” button found in the top right corner of your web browser or in the hamburger menu if you are on a mobile device. Enter your username (or the email address you used to sign up for COMPEL Pro) and your password. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset your password using the “Forgot Password” link on the COMPEL Pro member login page.

COMPEL Pro members have the ability to cancel their membership at any time. There are no refunds for unused days per COMPEL Pro’s no-refund policy, which all members agree to when signing up for COMPEL Pro.

COMPEL Pro members have the ability to cancel your membership at any time from your user profile. If a member is unable to use their account for weeks or months due to personal circumstances, refunds are still not available for unused time.
