YIPEE!

That is all I have to say. I have been looking forward to summer and nothing to do! Now that the marathon week of dance recital is over, and swimming lessons are over, let the fun begin.

Confession!
Every year I look forward to no school just as much as the kids do. I long for days that we sleep in and have no where to be. I like to plan days at Lagoon, the pool, the park, and naps. Along with late night yard games, and movies on the lawn. I just want to eat them up. Fill my bucket with my kiddo's. Then come August 23rd, SEND them back!

OH i love SumMeR!
Hank graduated from kindergarten this year. I just found these photo's and realized I hadn't posted on it yet. I think I am in a little bit of denial. I am NOT ready for two kids to be gone all day long. I really am not ready for this. Maybe the summer will get me ready?!? Who knows?

The graduates! These two are great buddies.

Mrs. Carr, oh how we will miss this lady! She is one in a million!

They had a little singing program for graduation. Hank had just gotten his tonsils out and this was the first day he was out of bed! Needless to say, singing wasn't really happening:)

Catching up!

This post is a catch up for the fact that the month of May I found myself running around crazy!

Image
OK--This is probably my favorite occurrence of the month! I had just been to the store and Jack insisted on Big marshmallows. I had to go grab the kindergarten carpool so I went and let Ruby eat a marshmallow while I was gone. This is what she looked like when I got back a few short minutes later! She is a doll...

I LOVE Henry Walker Homes!

This stuff has changed my life! It is SHELLAC! Colin gave it to me for mother's day. He is a great gift giver, but this one tops the charts. Ask me about it. I will fill you in...

My Hank got his tonsils out! It was a long week. I anticipated it would be, but he ate his last meal on Sunday night and didn't eat another thing till Thursday night! I was so worried. I would atleast get him to drink some water so we were back in the hospital! He got to keep his tonsils. He proudly showed everyone who came to visit. We had some many well-wishers. He is a loved little boy! How could he not be?
Image
He slept with me all week and displaced his dad. If anyone knows me they will know that I DO NOT allow little ones in my bed with me. I am a "Sleep Nazi" no one sleeps good when they are not in their own bed.
Image
I sure love this little boy, I enjoyed being his nursemaid for the week.

This is what we do when we go to Nana's house for Sunday dinner.

This is a blast from the past! Colin and I used to go to these concerts while we were dating! Now we take our kiddo's and they dance up front to the same songs!! I love it.

He is beautiful, and sweet, and YUM!

Ash, you make beautiful things! I am happy to know that he is here safe and sound!

...PS Thanks for having an epidural, I feel justified:)

Could we be any more different?????

I am married to my best friend in the entire world. He has been my best friend almost as long as my sister has! He has been a part of my life since I was young! (much younger than we want to admit to our children...) Yet, I can't get out of my mind how different we are! Here is some examples.

He is organized, motivated, driven, smart, a list maker, and sweet! How could we be so different and find so much fulfillment and satisfaction together. All I know, I love him, he was made for me.

Colin, I love you

Bear Lake 2010

We just got back from one of our most favorite places to visit. We were invited by some of our friends in our neighborhood to go to their cabin for the weekend. It was such a treat.

We went up on friday morning, we were supposed to go thursday night, but a beautiful baby was born...(More about that later). We spent Friday at the Beach. The water this year is so full that there is no beach or very little beach to find. Regardless, we found some and parked ourselves there for a 4 hours. The kids were in heaven. Ruth made a treasure hunt with an X to mark the spot in the sand. We built two big huge castles. We had races, and more races. Colin and Brett got a little competitive with some bocci ball. AND of course we ate some yummy lunch. The kids came back from the beach tired, and full of vitamin D.

That night we made the trip to La beau's. We indulged in shakes, and burgers, and fries, and onion rings!

The kids slept well that night having had a full day of fun.
On Saturday we hung out, rode bikes, went to the park, ate snow cones, chicken taco's, and some geo-caching! It was topped off as we introduced the Jones' to our favorite food in Logan, Juniper Take-out. Fun weekend! Thanks Jones' we loved EVERY minute.

Oh my GOODNESS!! She is 2 years old!

This past week my baby turned 2! It is so crazy how the time flies by. She is the light of my life and this house. She is so full of life and sweetness. We are so blessed to have her in our family, there is never a dull moment.

This year we all went to Toys "R" Us with her. We let her walk the isles of the store. She would pick things up and turn to her daddy and say, "Buy it." You could say that is early to know that, but let's all remember she is a Wright and she is asking HER DADDY! She is just like him, a shopper.:) We had a great time! After that we brought her gifts home and wrapped them for her party the next day.

Colin's favorite bakery made this cake. It was a pretty penny, but YUMMY!!

Ruby you light up our life, we are excited to get to know more about you as you grow this next year!!
