Constructive is excited to announce that our partners at the Center for Family Representation (CFR), a leading nonprofit legal and social work organization, have launched their new website alongside a revitalized brand.

For more than two decades, CFR has defended the rights of families in New York City. Decades of data and powerful client stories show that Black and Brown families are continually targeted by the child welfare system—what CFR calls the family policing system. Alongside their clients and partners, CFR is working towards a future where, instead of experiencing overpolicing and the threat of family separation, families are met with community resources and support so that they can stay together. 

To better articulate this vision and support continued impact, the Center for Family Representation partnered with Constructive to create a bold new brand identity and website. Together, we developed a redesigned logo, refined messaging and positioning, and designed a brand-new website that reflects CFR’s leadership, values, and deep commitment to justice.

CFR’s new website is designed to serve clients seeking resources and support, surfacing the right information for the right audiences at the right moments. The experience simplifies pathways for service seekers, supports users navigating moments of crisis, and reinforces CFR’s mission through every interaction.

Our team is proud of our work with CFR to co-create a bold brand and an accessible website, with the ultimate goal of amplifying the Center for Family Representation’s critical impact.

About the Center for Family Representation

As a public defender, CFR provides clients with free legal representation and social work services built on more than two decades of experience fighting the “child welfare system,” or what they call the family policing system. CFR works primarily with low-income Black and Brown parents facing an ACS investigation or prosecution and minors who have been arrested.
