Tee Ball!!!

Emma is finally old enough to play tee ball!  She was so excited for her first practice.

 We were the first ones there so Emma warmed up on the field with Daddy.

 Never fear, Grandparents, Emma will have a new glove and cleats soon!

 The team is a mixture of pre schoolers like Emma and Kindergarteners.

 Cooper and Daddy played while Emma practiced.

 Cooper's baseball season starts next week.  Stay tuned!!

Camping out

Friday night Michael and the kids camped out in the back yard.  Here's Cooper giving me his "what's up?" pose!

 He is getting so big.  I can't believe he's about to finish 1st grade.

 And this one is rapidly approaching 5 years old!  I don't even want to think about it!

I am so glad spring is finally here!  It was a long, cold winter.  On this particular day we stayed outside all day!  Michael made this tightrope for the kids in the front yard.

 Then we moved around to the backyard where Michael set up a zip line again.

Trail of Tears state park

Two weeks ago we went to the Trail of Tears state park.  First we walked down to get a look at the Mississippi River.

 This big barge was going by right when we walked up.

 Maybe someday I will read about the history of the Lewis and Clark Expedition!  For now I just took a picture!

 On a side note, all those stickers are now off my car windows!  I peeled them all off.  Yay!

No fear

Emma fell off her bike last Thursday.  She has a cut on the inside of her upper lip.  It bled so much and the cut looked gigantic to me so I took her to the ER.  I was sure she would get stitches, but the Doctor said that no stitches were needed and that it would heal fast.  I'm so glad that her teeth did not get messed up!  Here she is Friday afternoon ready to ride her bike again.  She wasn't nervous to get back on!

            She is a fierce little girl!
