Experimental Ork Jet Bike

As Orks like to loot just about anything and everything, I have taken an STL of an Imperial Knight Armiger body and printed various bits to make it into a jet bike type thing. Originally I was going to mount a Deffkopter type rotar to the top, but decided to go another way. I started with a couple of interesting looking thrusters for the sides and then added some exhausts.

The nose got a resized saw blade that fitted nicely in the front.

I still need to add some dakka, for this first test model, a couple of side mounted machine guns should do the job. Once that is done, where the is a gap, I will probably add rivets, bolts and Orky looking plates and panels.

For the next iteration, I will see about adding a turret to the top of the hull and see how that goes.

Puppet Wars O-14 TomOrk Building

I thought I would share a couple of pictures of a few of the magnets in the O-14 TomOrk jet fighter.

The first shows how the undercarriage is attached and allows the landing mechanism to be in the up or down position.

The second is the simple yet genius way of having the swing wings move back and forth. Two magnets on the fuselage allow the single magnet on the wings to switch and lock between the two. Brilliant.

Puppet Wars O-14 TomOrk

Another rather brilliant model from Puppets War for my Ork Boyz is this O-14 TomOrk.

This is fresh off the FDM build plate, glued together with the addition of loads of magnets to hold on the weapons and wheels.

Magnets also allow the wings to move from swept position to unswept with the magnets holding the wings firmly in each position.

I feel the need for speed!

Puppet Wars OPC

I purchased some Puppets War STL file during the Black Friday sales and have FDM printed a rather cool looking Aliens style Ork APC OPC.

There are plenty of weapon options with this vehicle, and it has been very well designed to take 5x2mm magnets. The down side is that there are LOADS of options and I have ended up using about 30 magnets.

My other problem is that thing will not get an undercoat until the weather improves, so about May then.
