MCKAY

    To say Mckay likes math is an understatement. Mckay LOVES math! All day long he is asking us math questions and trying to quiz us. Last night, during one of his math "quizzes" 

he asked me what 100 + pie equals.  Before I could say anything, he blurts out "103.14....duh mom".  Seriously?! I didn't even remember what pie was! He is in Kindergarten!! Our car rides always consist of him calculating MPH and MPG story problems. His brain is continually thinking about how many minutes and seconds there are in time. Yesterday, he was sitting with his calculator at the kitchen table, calculating how many seconds were in one week. He told me that he wants to be a doctor that does surgeries with lasers because lasers are "precise" (ha ha), or a professional athlete that gets to compete in the Olympics (any sport) . I think he got a little bit of his Grandpa Blanch's perfectionism.  He is such an awesome kid. Pandas, skiing, basketball, golf, football, baseball, reading, and math....those are his favorite things (he tells me).

Mrs. Reiber's Farm

On Saturday Mckay's kindergarten teacher invited all the kids to come to her farm. My kids were in heaven! She even let them take home a pumpkin.

Sadie Sadie...Funny Ladie

Just one of the funny conversations I had with Sadie today:

Mom: "Ouch, Sadie don't kick me in the stomach. That hurts!"

(I was laying with her in her bed and she continued to kick me)

Sadie: "Does it hurt your feelings?"

Mom: "Sure?!"

(not sure what she was talking about)

Sadie: "I have hurt feelings too! Look!"

She continued to show me her bruised and bandaged knees from falling down yesterday at the park

Sadie: "I don't like hurt feelings too mom!"

He did it!!

All of the lonely days and nights are finally over, and we finally have Eric back!! He got his MBA from the U of U and the kids couldn't be any happier to have daddy home at night! We are so proud of him and his accomplishment, and we (aka me) are proud that mom accomplished not going crazy in the past 1 1/2 years!
