Lesson 209- Padded Cross stitch and 210- Closed Fly stitch
https://queeniepatch.blogspot.com/p/sunday-stitch-school.html

These stitches were so quick an easy to make. I used a multicolour perle thread for the first row, on Aida.
The leaves were made with an Edmar knotty thread, and 3 strands DMC for the other leaves. It seems we can make our own leaf shapes with this stitch. The remaining photo has 2 knotty ones- a little fat, fine thread -and a variegated Cottage Garden thread on velvet.

Too many projects this week and I forgot to add the main Quaker stitch from school. It is simple to do. It is neat, curves well or can be just a straight line.
