Paying it Forward
Here is how it works-the 1st 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive at some point during this year a handmade gift from me. If you don't live by me leave me your address on my email [email protected]. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well. Before you leave your comment here write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going( or cut and paste..no one will judge you, cause that is what I did). Then come back and let me know you are going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift. Remember only the 1st 3 will qualify. Good Luck!!!

Carson's on a roll
This morning we were sitting at breakfast eating, and we started talking about the snow. It was snowing pretty hard, and Carson chimed in and said "It's so cumbersome." Ryan and I looked at Carson and said What? Where did you learn that word? He said "At school!" (Too bad he doesn't go to school.) Then I said, I don't think I even know what that means, and Carson says "It means heavy." I go check it out, and he is absolutely right-it does mean heavy.
After breakfast we got Carson all dressed and ready to go outside to play in the snow, and before he heads out the door he says "I'm so darling." (Oh if only he knew just how darling he really is!) Carson then goes outside to play with dad in the snow. While he is out there he turns to Ryan and says "Snow Sucks!" Right again my son! Here are some photos of what Carson and Ryan made later today when they went out for a second time. I think Carson may have changed his feelings toward snow.
It was just a really funny day with Carson today. A really good, and funny day. Thanks for the laughs, my darling.

COWTOWN
This will be a short post because, but I just had to share my big accomplishment. Last weekend I went down to Fort Worth, TX with a couple friends and participated in my first ever race. I ran a HALF MARATHON! Since high school I have wanted to run a marathon, and last weekend I got half-way there! I'm definitely not the fastest runner (Someone finished the marathon a couple minutes after I finished the half!), but I came in finishing 2:18:18. Not too bad for a first timer running in 30 degree temperatures and winds blowing 20-30 mph. You'd think it'd be warm in Texas, but not that day! I had a great time, and am planning on running my next race in May!
My friend took some photos before we started the race then her camera died so we didn't get any as we finished, but here is one of me back at the hotel after it was all over!
