Subscriptions model largely pertains to a system of billing consumers on a time determined basis for products or services that they receive. Of course, unlike traditional Subscription billing systems, Razorpay Curlec also lets merchants bill users based on usage and not just based on periodicity.

With Razorpay Curlec Subscriptions, you can automate recurring billing payments using APIs and manage your subscriptions with ease via Razorpay Curlec dashboard. You can also notify your customers about all subscription-related activities via webhooks.

Razorpay Curlec Subscriptions supports credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, and Direct Debit.

A mandate is an authorisation given by your customers, that allows you to collect payments from their bank accounts directly. The mandate contains information about the customer such as name, ID number, bank name; and agreed collection terms such as collection frequency and maximum collection amount. The mandate does not contain the bank account number.
By authorising the mandate, your customer's bank would be notified that permission is given to your bank to “pull” payments from the bank account directly. It takes two days for the enrolment reports to be returned to Razorpay Curlec. It takes another two days before the first collection can be made. You cannot collect payments from the customer's bank account without the authorised mandate and enrolment report.

To authorise a mandate, your customer would need to agree to the Terms and Conditions on the mandate form and Proceed to FPX. They would then be redirected to their online banking portal to authorise a RM1 FPX transaction. The purpose of this authorisation is to:
Make sure that the bank account is legitimate and active.
Inform the bank that the customer has allowed the merchant bank to collect money from their bank account.

Razorpay Curlec offers a batch upload function for you to convert existing paper mandates into eMandates in our system. These paper mandates should already have been approved by PayNet but not managed by Razorpay Curlec. Uploading them onto our system allows you to perform collection on these mandates via the portal. This should be a one-off exercise.
