 Lots of thoughts coming into my mind…. Looking back at what had happened since teenage life felt heavy.

I think is really amazing how this blog could keep all my memories.

Batam Getaway Trip

BATAM

Woke up super early on an weekend (9am) to catch the ferry, As we have missed the ferry before, we were super kiasu this time just in case we are cursed again. This time round we didnt plan any itinerary and just went ahead with our trip. Took the same BatamFast and reached in about an hour time!

Here's a view from our hotel's balcony! Super peaceful and relax place to laze in if you just want to keep away from all the emails and stressful thoughts!

As mentioned earlier, we didnt plan for anything so we were kind of lost when we reach the hotel. So first thing our mind could think of was to call up for hotel massage. Not fantastic and was quite expensive for a not so enjoyable one. Quite a painful process as the masseur told me my body is very tensed and hence the pain. After that, we head down to a nearby vegetarian restoran for our dinner.  The food was surprisingly cheap and good! If you have no idea what to eat, you can try!

End of Day 1 ~~ Slept quite early as we haven't had much rest the night before.

Day 2 - Hired a one-day driver to bring us around Batam. To my surprise, there's other nice places that we could explore in this island. We went to Tua Bek Kong Temple for the first time, tried this super big coconut, not very sweet though! Just wanna take a picture to show off!

After that we head to the famous Belarang Bridge where you can enjoy the scenic views of Batam.
If you are there, do remember to buy the bbq corn to accompany you when you walk along the bridge. You can even choose to have sweet or spicy or mix flavour for your choice of corn!

 Our driver of the day who apparently is younger than us! His name is Hldi but we feel more appropriate to call him small boy. Hardworking man who spent his off day working as a part time driver to earn extra bucks for his family. We had a great time together. He is more like a friend than just a driver.

Hldi recommended us to visit one of the tourist attraction in Batam which is the ex-Vietnam camp quite close by the bridge. Below are some of the pictures of the place.

In the evening, we went to the Mega Mall for our last minute grocery shopping and had our all time-fac A&W must-have in Batam! We ended the day with a 90 mins leg massage at GO-Massage near Nagoya. Highly recommended place to go! Will definitely go again the next time i go Batam. 

LONG WEEKEND

It's been years since i last posted something. This is because i failed to access the blog and i was lazy to find out how to do so. As today marks the first quarter of my new sales job, quota met and i'm happy to share and save my good news. In order to reward myself, i have planned a short getaway trip to Batam with Joo. So looking forward to it! :)

You must move on from the past to fully appreciate new beginnings. Starting over can be hard but change in life is only possible when we no longer stand still. Good and Bad,everything happens for a reason. Don't cry because it's over,smile because it happened. Holding on to regrest can prevent you from living life to the fullest. Keep you mind, heart and eyes open an new adventure will find you:)

Today Friday 13 2012

I really don't understand what is happening to my life. In an blink of an eye,my life change totally. Good and Bad i should say, having the opportunity to go to Japan to work is on of the bright side of my happenings. However, my r/s doesn't seems to work well with colleagues or love ones. This is the downside of all. I am think i really need to improve myself, take up more courses or even other languages to better make use of my youth rather than regretting later on.
Life in Japan is fast paced,people walking quickly to the train station, it's a busy street of course due to the population is much higher compare to spore. I have a great experience taking the subway to travel around. It was packed like sardine and i was sandwished in the middle. During the times in Japan, i manage to ponder and step back to think about what i need in life and to stop wasting my time with un-important stuff.
People tends to change in their mindset and thinking when they reach different stages in life,
I hate it when sudden changes in a person whom is close to me happens. This will really shock me out of my life. It really takes time to adjust my impression of him. It really pissed me off for the first few days when he decided not to go to penang again which hurt me twice in a week or 2.
I swear i am gonna move on and get over it very soon cos it's waste of time to think and think about it.
Times flies, it have been a year and things changes so quickly. Thank God for everything!
