Christmas Day!

We had a wonderful Christmas. Of course the kids ended up with more presents to unwrap than we planned on, but a lot of it was stuff we were needing to get for them but waiting to put under the tree, like sheets for Anne's bed and a booster seat for the table. I hope everyone else had a great Christmas too. It ended up snowing too so we were not able to spend the day at grandma and papa's as planned. Anne was really sad about that. Other than that it was great.

Christmas Pictures

Here are some of the pictures we tried to take for Christmas. They didn't turn out so well ( Our Camera sometimes has a mind of its own as far as focusing and lighting goes) I thought I would share a few of them anyway.

Snow

The coat that Hank has on is a little big for him and he hates it. As soon as I got him in it, he started to cry. He couldn't move at all and his arms wouldn't go down. It reminded me of "A Christmas Story". I had to laugh at him.

We just got back from Adam and Laurie's today. We decided to leave earlier than planned so we could hopefully outrun the snow that was beginning to fall up there. Luckily we did. We hit a good storm through Filmore area, but it wasn't sticking to the road. Once we got back here, it was still only partly cloudy. The clouds kept rolling in and by 5:30, there was a good amount of snow on the ground. Anne was so excited that we put on all of her snow stuff and let her play. She kept eating the snow and saying it was good. She had a blast rolling in the snow and getting buried by Dan. When she came in she had hot chocolate to warm her up (she was really really cold)

O Christmas Tree

Here are some pictures of the kids decorating the Christmas tree. (Of course Hank just laid there and watched, but he sure enjoyed that) Anne just loves the tree. She comes down every morning and turns the lights on. She also loves to rearrange and eat the decorations. At least the gingerbread men. One time she was behind the tree and I asked her what she was doing, she said"just hiding" I asked her again what she was doing and she said "just eating a cookie" She is such a funny girl.

Here are some cute pictures of the kids. This picture of Hank is his first time sitting in the high chair and first time eating toast. He loved it.

Cousins Playing

I thought this was so cute. Before I got the camera out they were playing ring around the rosie too. They were all having so much fun, with Lauren in the background doing her show. Lauren is so funny. When you get a microphone in her hand, she will start by welcoming everyone to the show and then she will sing and dance. She is very entertaining.

Thanksgiving Day

Here are the some of the little kids enjoying themselves at the park before dinner. They had so much fun playing. It was a really nice day, actually it was really nice in Paradise the whole time we were there. We went up to get my parents christmas tree and it turned out to be in the low 70's that day. Sorry I don't have any pictures of that. I had a hard time remembering to take any pictures. Diana is the reason I even remembered to take these at the park because she was taking some pictures. Everytime we would go to my parents house Anne would have to pick out a red leaf from the ground. The kids were ready to be home though. We got home late last night and they were both so excited that they were being so cute, after being not so cute in the car. Anne told Dan that Hank looked like a bird on TV becuase he was on his belly with his hands swinging up and down and his head doing the same thing. It was cute.

Anne's Kennel

Today Anne went to IFA with Aunt Kyra to get her new puppy Bella a kennel to sleep in. When they came home, Anne told me she wanted to go to sleep. I said, you want to go to sleep? She said I want to sleep in my Kennel. I thought that would be nice if she would sleep in a kennel but I thought if Child services found out I would be in big trouble, even if she wanted to. So Kyra left with the dog and kennel and Anne kept saying I want to sleep in my kennel. So Dan (who was home for lunch) made a Kennel out of boxes for her. She has been having fun playing and "sleeping" in it this afternoon.

Anne was playing with her toys when all of a sudden she said, "Mama look" as I look up at her, she has a tongue in her mouth sticking it out at me. I thought it was pretty funny so I grabbed the camera. The first shot is the best one I could get of her doing it because as I asked her to do it again, I turned away from her for a second to look at Hank and then turned around in time to snap the picture with out even looking. Then I realized that she had it in her nose and not in her mouth again. I had to laugh at that. She is soo silly.

Cousins

Melina and Terrick came over for a little bit on Saturday. They all had a lot of fun playing together. I usually always forget to take pictures of them together, but as I served them their lunch I thought, this would make a good picture. So Here they are eating Mac and cheese.

Here are the cute little kids. Anne had fun going trick or treating. She was shy at first, but it didn't take her long to get into it for the candy. Hank helped me hand the candy out at our trunk or treat. It was so nice yesterday that we didn't even need coats. That was a good change from last year and the year before.

We had a busy week this week(of fun things to do) On Wednesday we went to Panguitch and had a picnic with cousins. Anne had so much fun she said she wanted to go back to Lina's big house and spend the night.(I forgot to bring the camera though) Anne and Melina were twins in their little princess shirts. I was sad we couldn't get a picture of that. Then on Thursday we went over to Kyra's house and decorated cookies for Halloween. Here are some of those pictures. When I showed them to Dan, he thought that Alicia was holding Eli for a minute. I guess Hank might look like me a little after all.
