I have a great interest in Celebrity portraits since I also have been working on an autograph portrait mailart project for 10 years, corresponding with people around the world. There are now over 2000 mailed responses representing 48 countries.
These three portraits were significant because I have felt strong connections to the characters in the films. Redmayne’s portrayal of Lili Elbe was emotionally brilliant and poignant. - Actually inspiring a new series of work. Pine is part of the Star Trek Series and Gadot as Wonder woman as tributes to their strength in character and role models.
