I'm A Big Girl Now

To celebrate turing 4-weeks old, Reagan enjoys some big girl activities... Reagan holds her head up for a look around. She is very interested in the big world around her. Reagan takes a nap in mommy and daddy's big people bed. She was so comfy that she stayed to watch a movie with us.

More Reagan Activities

Bedtime is near... Reagan is snuggling with her froggy (a gift from her little friend Cole) before nodding off to sleep. In a few short hours she will be up for her next feeding and late night play. An outing with mommy and daddy... Reagan is dressed in her big girl clothes to run a few errands. She went to Target (mommy's favorite store) for the very first time.

Reagan's First Christmas

3 Weeks Old

To celebrate her 3 week old birthday, Reagan is wearing her pink fleece overalls and enjoying a ride in her aquarium swing. She changes each day... what a joy she is to watch grow and learn.

Daddy Smiles

Sometimes Reagan is tired of getting slobbered on with so many kisses, so we take a break for some gas-powered smiles. Many people would be jealous of our full heads of throughly conditioned hair...note the lack of split ends!

A Day With Reagan

Reagan's first stroller ride... We took her to the mailbox and around the apartment complex. The weather was beautiful. Reagan plays with her baby gym for the first time... She was able to make some noise even if it was by accident. Reagan is sacked out after a long day of firsts and fun times.

Reagan's Favorite Things

Eating and Burping... Reagan has quite the appetite. She follows each meal with a good burp just like daddy. Sleeping... Reagan sleeps in what we like to call the Hallelujah pose. She is a great sleeper just like mommy.

Week Old Baby...Still Fresh!

today is Reagan's one week birthday so we celebrated appropriately with some sleeping, several good feedings and the obligatory activities that accompany those feedings. toward the end of the day, Reagan paused from her activities to pose for a quick photo. she is keeping busy with opening her eyes, smiling at the world (probably just gas) and upping the cute quotient around the Smith household...

daddy's pride and joy... today was reagan's first full day at home and it was full of sleeping, eating, and plenty of awake time. mostly, she just waited around for daddy to come home and give her kisses. she is already very alert, making googly eyes at anybody within her 8 inch focal distance and blinking hard at all the paparazzi flashbulbs going off around her... she is also working on a set of sweet arches in her feet...thank goodness! maybe she can wear regular shoes like her mommy.

Introducing Reagan Jewell Smith... Our little angel arrived December 2, 2006 at 12:34am weighing 6 lbs. 8 ozs. and measuring 19 inches long with a full head of black hair and big dark eyes. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas! We are very grateful for the many blessings of the past year... the coming of Reagan (17 days to go), family, health, provision for me to stay home with Reagan, a residency in Virginia for Daniel, and more.

Knoxville Baby Shower

Saturday October 7th we celebrated the coming of Reagan with a baby shower in Knoxville. It was very special to share this sweet time with family and friends. Starting with at the top... picture 1 is of Gabby and Dado Randolph kissing Mommy Elizabeth, picture 2 includes Grammie Smith, Aunt Maleah, Daddy Daniel, and Mommy Elizabeth, picture 3 is of the proud grandmothers-to-be loving baby Reagan. We are so blessed to have the love of family and friends.

Our LIttle UT Fan

Reagan's first UT football game...she is our little good luck charm. UT beat Memphis and Daddy is a happy camper. Reagan kicked around during the game; she is preparing to be the cutest little Vol fan ever. Next week marks 30 weeks (only 10 weeks to go!).

Preparing For Reagan

We are now 25.5 weeks pregnant. Reagan has new furniture and a closet full of clothes. We are having a lot of fun preparing for her arrival. Her room will be pink, green, and yellow (I included a picture of her fabric). She is our pretty little princess!

And The Name Is

Reagan Jewell at 22 weeks (Aug. 9th)... Soooooo CUTE! We are enjoying watching her grow and feel her kick. She is our little princess. For those of you who do not know our little girl is named after two very special ladies Frances Reagan Hobbs (Daniel's grandmother) and Jewell Elizabeth Barlow (My grandmother).

20 Weeks

We are now at the half way mark, 20 weeks! In the last couple of weeks, my belly has really started to pop out. The baby is moving around more each day; it feels like a butterfly. Later this week, we will go to the doctor for an ultrasound. We hope to find out the sex of our little person. What is your guess???

The Growing Belly

We are expecting and want you all to come along for the journey! I am now 17 1/2 weeks pregnant and enjoying every minute. Each day my belly grows bigger and bigger. In a few short weeks we will attempt to find out if our little one is a boy or a girl. Keep checking back for new updates on how the smith family grows!
