Heidi's Photo Shoot

My awesome cousin Jen is as awesome photographer, so when Heidi was born she took some awesome pictures for us. I just love this little girl so much, it's so fun to have cute pictures of her. Thanks Jen!

It was so nice going to bed Sunday night knowing it was going to be my last night of being pregnant. I was able to get everything ready to go before bed. And even better my Mom was already sleeping at my house so when the time came we wouldn't have to worry about getting someone to come over to watch Kaitlyn and Makenzie. Monday morning at 5:30am I got a call saying it was time for me and Dan to come in to the hospital to have our baby! It only took about 2 hours once I got to the hospital for me to get get hooked up to all the monitors, iv's, pitocin, and my epidural. Then it was just the waiting game. I was expecting it to take all day, but once things got started it all started going pretty quickly. And voila! by 12:45pm Heidi made her debut!

Emily came to visit when Heidi was just a few hours old. When she was on her way to the hospital she called and asked what I needed. In true Allen fashion my response was CHOCOLATE! So being the loving sister that she is she brought me just about every kind chocolate drink that Sonic has on the menu. Thanks Em!

Alyssa, you rock! Thanks for going straight from working all night over to my house to be with my girls.

Makenzie on the other hand wasn't quite so sure. She was fast asleep when she first got to the hospital, but after a few minutes she warmed right up to her new little sister

Nevermind my hideous-ness (hey I was in the middle of giving birth and I'm just not one of those girls who looks her best while doing it) We like to call this picture "I'm not looking"...I don't think much more of an explanation is needed.

Robinsons, Paynes, & Mom!

We've had such a fun week. On Sunday night my Mom drove out here with my sister Emily and her family who just moved here from Texas!!! While at the same time sister Stephanie drove here with Owen and Alyssa from AZ with her baby Kennedy! All week long we helped Emily move into her new home, played, got our nails done, got things ready for my baby girl, and had a crazy craft night 2 blankets, a car seat cover, and tutu



Steph came to visit this week hoping that she would also be able to meet the newest addition to our family. But unfortunately I did not go into labor while she was here. It's too bad Steph had to leave, because I'm getting induced in the morning...WAHOO!


Oh how I love Steph! I wish you still lived in UT. I think you've taught Kaitlyn a thing or too about how to take a picture

Valentines

This year for Valentines Dan took Kaitlyn out for her own special date (in addition to our hot night out which may or may not have included a trip to the hospital - only to preregister) She was so excited it was so cute! They went to Cold Stone and she got to pick out whatever she wanted... blue (I'm totally shocked it wasn't PINK) ice cream in a chocolate waffle cone, with sprinkles and gummy bears.

Poor Makenzie was feeling a little left out, so we snapped a picture with her too. Luckily that was all she wanted and didn't realize that there was some Cold Stone action going on too. Next year Kenzie you can get your own date
