They Call Me Tatar Salad

  Hi! I'm sharing a layout that I created using products from the amazing Brutus Monroe Stitched with Love Release.  I used the solid pattern layer from the Sewn Patterns Acetate set as the base of this layout. Sometimes the packaging is just as beautiful as the product! I added additional layers of patterns using stencils, stamps, and washi pieces to create a quick mixed media background. Partial stenciled designs, imperfect stamping, and torn washi strip edges are perfect for this style of background. I was going for a perfectly imperfect look.  I incorporated the I See a Pattern Here Stamp, which is an older product, into the background of this page with some Gilded embossing. This was a great alternative to foiling the acetate sheet, which would have given a similar look. To finish my design, I embellished the page with fussy cut flowers and a die-cut title.
