Happy Father's Day! It seems each year there is another little girl added to the bunch!

what's next for our not so little family? well a week from today danny is getting the moving truck and we are pulling out of here next tuesday! my dad gets in on monday afternoon to make the trek back with us! and just to makes things a bit more interesting (because that's what we do!) danny has a job interview set up in denver on the way back to alabama! we were stopping in denver overnight to visit some friends but now we may just be dropping our load there :) all i know is that God is preparing something, somewhere for danny and our family and i'm just along for the ride at the moment :)

Happy Birthday Norah!

Norah Carolyn was born last night, June 18th, at 7:02pm! She's a petite little thing - 6lbs 3oz and 19 inches long - just perfect!! Labor and delivery were as expected and we got to come home before dinner tonight so that was great!! Other than a bit tired we are all doing very well! Thank you for all your prayers and warm wishes!

ella and layla were both asleep when norah was born last night so they had to wait to come down and see her this morning . . which meant grandma had to wait, too! they got there and it was like christmas morning!! both ella and layla were very interested in norah and took a quick liking to her! check back in a couple weeks :)

Induction

We are officially to have an induction on Thursday. My OB called today to confirm and let us know we are on the schedule, although she told me she didn't think i would "go the distance!" i'm still progressing - in ways that i won't mention on the blog :) - but labor is definitely on it's way - it's just a matter of if it will be in full swing before thursday! here's hoping it is :)

Dr's appt

Had a dr's appt this afternoon. a little to report - not in labor but slowly still taking baby steps. 2 cm almost 3 cm dialated. we are tenatively scheduled to have an induction next thursday, but because it is an elective procedure, we may have to wait until friday. it's a first come first serve type deal :) i'm hoping something will happen this week, because i've said before i really hate inductions, and i'll be sure to post a quick note if it does!

My mom has been here since monday and has been giving danny and i much appreciated help!! We've had 2 dates this week :) and the girls love playing with grandma so i've been able to sit back and relax a bit more!!!

Danny is still sending resumes all over the place. i'd ask that you all please still keep him in your prayers . . it's a tough road to navigate!

Celebratory dinner!

Danny and I got to have a date night last night and celebrate the passing of all his exams! We went to Ray's Boathouse right on the water and we both agreed it couldn't have been better!! The seafood was amazing and the wine was even better - YUP I had 2 sips of danny's Riesling - my fav!!!! and danny reserved us a table RIGHT on the water! it was a date straight out of the "BC" (before children) days :)

STILL preggo :) 39 weeks tomorrow! I have a dr's appt this afternoon. Think dialation :)

38 weeks tomorrow!

I had another dr's appt this morning and things are moving along - just not at a rapid pace. I'm 1 centimeter dilated - which was cool to me because i have never been dialted before i went into labor (ella was 10 days late and i had to be induced and layla went from nothing to everything very quickly!) - and am 50% effaced. though norah is head down she is still pretty high up so i'm not thinking they'll be anything to blog home about this weekend! my mom gets in on monday and after that i'm hitting the mall and am just going to walk this baby out :) the last week has been an umcomfotable one - a lot of cramping and backaches - but i know it's nothing compared to what's about to happen so i'm trying to keep it in perspective :)

future gold medalists?

Our MOPS group went on an outing today to GYMagine - a place where kids can "drop-in" and do gymnastics. i wasn't quite sure how either of the girls would do, but after warming up a bit they both seemed to enjoy themselves! it was bit rougher on me than i expected! danny went with me so we could both be with each of the girls and i took layla - probably not the smartest move but danny can get ella to try things she never would with me so i'm glad he was hanging with her!! because i had to be involved in most everything going on i was only able to snap a few pics!

this foam block pit! layla hasn't mastered jumping on solid ground so she just ran as fast as she could . .and loved it!!

well he should because that's the look of a guy who just found out he passed ALL his exams to get his Architecture license!

I am VERY proud of my hubby!!! I know it was a hard and long road but it's OVER!!!
