it was the perfect summer day in seattle . . finally! we spent the afternoon at silver lake!

8 years and 4 kids later . .
it still fits!!!!! granted, i couldn't sit but i could zip it all the way! things aren't quite in the same spots :) but i'm pretty proud!
danny and i celebrated 8 years of marriage yesterday with a "quiet" (afterall the girls were home as well) night at home!

maren's first tooth!
maren's first tooth has finally cut through! it's her top right one and only a tiny piece is visible. the only reason i even know it's now there is because she used to it try to bite off my nipple while nursing :)

VBS #2
Our neighbors invited the girls to their church for another week of VBS which ended yesterday. The theme was "The Big Apple" and they seemed to enjoy it! I got a few pix from the end of week fun fair. Layla performed for all the parents by signing 3 bible verses - very cute :) and ella played the part of Mary in a play and washed Jesus's feet! both girls were very proud of themselves . .as was i!

the sun showed itself in seattle today :) it felt so nice just to get out of the house and enjoy the frsh air and sunshine!
