Kayla's Preschool Adventures: September

Kayla's preschool teachers do an excellent job of taking pictures and sending them out to the parents so we can see all the fun they are having.  Here are a few things that happened during September.

The Trike a Thon!  Since Kayla hasn't quite learned how to ride a bike, we brought her plasma car.  She can go fast on that thing! 

When the weather is bad, they have an indoor play area. 

They go outside for 30 minutes each day.  It's become a habit to dump her shoes out in the garage on a regular basis. 

Each class has an animal mascot.  She is in the monkey class (which is perfect for her).  I am excited to watch how she grows and learns to be more independent.  Great job Kayla!   

Skipping school: Busch Gardens Trip!!!

Before our Busch Garden's passes expired for the year, Andrew thought it would be fun to surprise the two older kids and have them skip school to go one last time.  They didn't put up too much of a fight.  :-) 

 

Chocolate covered smores made the perfect snack to a perfect day. 

McKenna's 5 Months Old

Where did the time go?!  My little one is growing too fast.  I am loving this sweet girl.  She is a happy, fun and easy going baby. 

 

Kayla wanted to jump into a few pictures.  She adores her little sister (sometimes a little too much.  We are working on that).

Kayla's First Day of Preschool

Kayla started preschool this year.  She goes three days a week.  She was more than ready to get out and be with other kids! 

I love her goof ball smile. 

Another preschool duffle bag to add to our collection.  Have a great year Kayla!!!

First Day of School 2014

Carson and Abigail are off to school!  School starts late in VA.  They were ready to get back into the school routine and see friends again.   

Waiting at the bus stop.  Always lots of people to talk to while you wait for the bus.  Kayla loves going to pick them up from the bus stop because some of the mom's will bring their dogs with them. 

Another great year ahead of them! 

4 month old McKenna

My little chubbers is 4 months old.  When did that happen?!  She is such a fun and calm baby.  She loves to smile, make spit bubbles and play.  We just can't get enough of her.  Love her to pieces!!!! 

 

I had to throw these two in just so everyone could get a full glimpse into her super kissable cheeks! 

Virginia Beach Trip

We took a small family trip down to Virginia Beach for a few days.  The weather was perfect! 

Our first night there we decided to take a walk down the boardwalk.  It was hard to go on a walk and not at least try out the sand a little bit. 

Our second day there we spent the whole day at the beach! 

This little one was very chill and spent about 90% of her time under the canopy or taking a nap at the hotel. 



Carson and Abby both found a friend to play with on the beach. 

This was my favorite part. 

Andrew took the older two on a walk in the evening. 

Once the kids were in bed and all but asleep, we heard fireworks outside.  They were shooting them right off the beach and we had a perfect view from our window.  The kids were too groggy to bother waking up to watch. 

It was a short little trip, but we had a blast!
