Tub and Toes
Mason LOVES bath time. Like seriously LOVES it. I feel bad if I don't bathe him every day because it is definitely his most favorite time of day. The girls like to come in and help me and he thumps his belly and splashes us and they just love it.

He also LOVES his toes. He constantly has them in his mouth. It's the cutest thing.

Owl Hat Part II
Remember this sweet thing??

He's definitely still as cute, just a little bigger and chubbier now:) I was excited when I put his owl hat on and it still fit him(a little tighter, yes, but still fits!) I spent so much time making this hat I'm happy he can get some good use out of it. And I think he looks like the cutest little owl in the world when he wears it:) P.S. Do you see his shirt? It says "Slow Down International HUNK up Ahead. So true, so true. I love this little guy so much.

Farmington Trip
In September, the kids and I decided (last minute:) to take a road trip to Farmington. I'm so glad we did!! We had such a fun time and wore those kids right out! We played at the park, went to a fun children's museum, finger painted with chocolate pudding, made dipped cones for ice cream, and just played and played and played!! And of course, Megan and I had to do a craft when the kids were sleeping! We made this super cute Halloween banner. I need to take a picture of it. It really is so cute! I think the highlight might have been the finger painting! It was hilarious to watch how the how event played out...pictures below...LOTS!
Here are Mason and Rubi just chillin at the park...of course we always have to get a picture of these two together!I love how she is looking at him in this picture! So funny.
After waaaay too much sand was thrown in each other's hair, a bath was definitely needed that night. I think more water ended up outside the tub than in by the time they were done!
Licking the spoons from the breakfast muffins. Megan seriously is the best hostess ever. She makes breakfast, plans the best activities and just makes everything so much fun!
This is at the Children's Museum we went to. It was really cute and better yet, it was free!
Now for the finger painting...it started out really innocently at first...
Then they started to get more brave....
Then Lilly (definitely the ring leader this time!!) started to get REALLY brave...
...and needed to paint her whole face!
Elsie quickly joined in the fun...
And Maia, always the hesitant and reserved one, finally caved and started painting her face too. This is so Maia's personality...not wanting to do anything wrong and definitely not wanting to get in trouble. Elsie on the other hand, well, she could care less!
After they were all messy, they decided it would be a great idea to get washed up in the nasty rainwater that was sitting in the pool outside (again this was Lilly and Elsie leading the show here!)
But look at the pure joy on their face! Seriously I had the best time watching the whole series of events. They were in HEAVEN. Laughing so hard. Just being kids!!
After that, Megan had all the fixin's for dipped ice cream cones all ready to go. There was lots of different kinds of candy that they could choose from to dip their cone in. But of course, sprinkles are always the fav for some reason.
It was such a fun couple of days!! My kids were so tired they slept a ton for the next day or two! I need them to be worn out like that more often. Thanks so much Megan for the fun, fun trip!

Back to School FHE
Right before preschool started, the Cardon's invited us over for a Back to School FHE party. It was a lot of fun. Tiffany had a tradition in her family of having a whip cream fight every year before school so she decided to carry on the tradition. I have to tell ya, it's a fun one! It started out with each child being given a cool whip pie to throw in their dad's face. Elsie would have NOTHING to do with it and actually cried the entire time because she was so scared. Maia was a little hesitant at first, then joined right in and had a blast! Some of the group: I wish I would have gotten more action shots during the whole fight, but I was busy holding Mason and shielding myself from any attacks;)

Temple
One Sunday after church we took a drive to go up to the Temple grounds. It is so beautiful there and I love that we only live 20 mins. away. Since we were still in our church clothes, I decided to snap some pictures. Warning: there are a lot of them! There were just too many cute ones to choose from!!
Elsie is into this face making thing when we take her picture now...sometimes it's funny, sometimes I HATE it (like when I want her to just SMILE.)
This little man is definitely loved by the girls in his life!!
Maia and Mason have this special little bond. She loves to take care of him and he smiles and laughs at her more than anyone else I think!
All of them together...
