Mom's Helper

Jade has decided that doing the laundry is her new favorite chore. She comes running whenever I grab the laundry bin and open the laundry doors. I have to admit, I really like this stage (the helping stage). She helps me put away clean dishes, she grabs clean diapers and she even wips off her table.

Life with Jade

It seems that Jade is getting old enough to figure out our daily and nightly routines. This is Jade showing Devin that it's time to come for family prayer before bedtime (I couldn't resist taking a picture). I sure love this girl.

A few weeks ago we headed over to the Low's for our Sunday meal and Jade ran straight to an oversized box lying in their living room. Apparently Mike saved their stroller box for Jade to climb in. He says it's her "only toy" at their house.

She also likes to enjoy a healthy snack every once in a while (don't know why she sneaks Cheerios in with her...I promise we feed her!)

 

Grizzly's Game

Devin and I got to sneak away with the Low's for a date night earlier this month. It was so much fun to watch a basketball game (without distractions) and then go out for ice cream at Cold Stone.

Dress Up

Lately Jade has had a "thing" for shoes. She loves to step into our shoes (and then tries to walk around). Dad's are obviously a little too big.

It's dress up time again. Our good friend Marcela gave Jade a cute backpack stuffed with 2 adorable princess dresses. Jade loves them!! It looks like she's also ready for school (I know, I know...19 months is still a little too early).

"CHEESE!!" Marcela gave Jade 2 BEAUTIFUL Disney princess dresses a few weeks ago. She loves to prance around the house in them saying "OOOOO" (as in "OOOOO, I'm so beautiful).
