What exactly is DefiantHQ?
DefiantHQ is our 458 sqm creative studio in Sydney, Australia — purpose-built for brands that need high-volume, high-impact content. It’s not just a space; it’s the engine that powers our performance creative, UGC, and design systems.
What kind of production happens inside the studio?
Everything from UGC shoots, product demos, and lifestyle setups to motion graphics, photography, and short-form ads. The space includes a 6 × 6 m cyclorama, content bays, podcast suite, lighting rigs, and editing stations for same-day delivery.
Do you only shoot in-studio?
No. We handle on-location, remote, and global productions through our creator network and mobile production teams. Whether it’s a kitchen setup, outdoor lifestyle shoot, or influencer UGC sprint, we manage it end-to-end.
What design capabilities do you offer beyond video & photo?
Our design team covers ad statics, 2D & 3D motion graphics, logos, packaging and branding systems. Every asset is performance-driven, built to convert.
Can you handle brand identity and design direction?
Yes. We define visual systems, typography, and color hierarchies that align with your performance goals. For many brands, we act as their creative department shaping everything from lookbooks to campaign art direction.
How does the studio connect with your performance work?
Every shoot is planned around ad performance data. The studio exists to feed media teams with constant creative diversity: new hooks, visuals, and formats tested fast. It’s the backbone of our DNA as a performance creative studio.
What’s your typical creative process for a new brand?
We start with a Creative Strategy Sprint, auditing data, identifying angles and mapping shoot concepts. Then we move into production, editing, testing, and iteration. Everything lives inside our performance dashboard for visibility.
What does pricing look like for studio and creative production?
We have a minimum 10K engagement for projects and typical projects vary from $15K–$150K+, depending on scale, shoot days, and post-production requirements.
Can other agencies or brands hire the studio?
We use DefiantHQ primarily for our clients, but select co-productions and partnerships are considered if aligned with our creative vision and scheduling. It’s a working facility, not a rental backdrop.
