Denny Christmas Parties

Last night's Christmas party was very enjoyable! Thank you, Dave and Amy, for hosting us at your beautiful home. I always enjoy reuniting and making new memories and hope the kids appreciate the value of families that are close.

In reviewing the video footage we've captured through the years, I noticed many similarities between last night's event and those of years past. I'll share two years here, and follow up with additional years in the coming days if enough seem to enjoy these clips.

Be sure to catch the classic rendition of Two Little Boys, two and a half minutes into the clip. I have a hard time watching this one without getting a little emotional.

This one has Grandma reading a Christmas story to the children near the end. Such great memories.

Happy Thanksgiving

The Drapers have had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break this year, filled with lots of eating and lots of family time.

As I've recently jumped back into family history mode, I watched this clip of one of my favorite Thanksgivings. I remember dozens - if not hundreds - of similar scenes from my childhood and hope seeing this brings a smile to your face just like it did to mine.

Be sure to catch the final 30 seconds of this clip - a Denny marching band for the ages. My personal favorite is seeing Becca lead the band with heartfelt gusto!

Kristen and Grayson Accident

We are so extremely grateful

to have Kristen and Grayson OK!

They were in an accident on Wed. Nov 14.

You can see from the car how lucky they were. They were hit by a SUV and pushed into a SUV by a woman that had a medical condition....she was traveling about 35-40 mph. Gray's car seat was even damaged too much to use.

We love you Kristen and Grayson and are sooooo glad you are ok!!

Draper Fall

We have had a fun, full Fall.

We had Camrie's baptism the first of October. It was a great day!

October also had lots of leaf raking in addition to carving pumpkins and trick or treating.

(A butterfly, a nerd, and a vampire - we are very simple Halloween people. :)

Vacant Beach House and lonely dog available in December and January.

I'm celebrating a BIG birthday this December (I know, it's hard to believe). So...I'm taking off for Tel Aviv and Instanbul from December 10th to January 11th. Before I speak with my regular dog/house sitter I wanted to see if anybody had any interest in spending time at the beach during that time. The house does come with light dog sitting duties (feeding, petting, loving). Kalyn has expressed interest in the first part of the trip, but I don't have any dates yet. Let me know as quickly as possible if anybody wants to come as I need to organize everything shortly. Much sunny love.
