DKK re-arms 3 of 3

This may appear a random selection, but bear with me. 

The GL guy is to add to the FOO party, as they don't have much in the way of local boom.  They have, as the great poet Baldrick observed, an awful lot of Boom, but need some boom to go with the flashlights.

The other two, one with an Anvil assult rifle and one with a broken las gun, are intended as buddies for the snipers.  the las rifle will need repair, fortunately I have a doaner. 

And the anvil stuff included some bits which are doubtless intended for the underslung GL they can provide for SM bolters.

These guys need to be Blue Kreig, which is not actually a colour scheme I've ever done myself.  

But I appear to have another Quad Launcher, so these guys have a job.

Again, finished with a selection of VL, Anvil and Pig Iron

DKK Re-arms 1 of 3

A while ago, Admiral Drax expressed incredulity at some DKK needing re-painting.  So just to reiterate, these are the orphans from the internet - they're all the wrong colour(s) and of varying standards of finish and repair. 

DKK with sniper rifles.  Ghillie suits are a fantastic modelling option but I don't know if I'm up to that yet, we'll see how these go.  There is already one Artillery unit sniper, so two of these will go grey with mustard facings.  Which means I'll need another one to then have a set for the Brown Kreig.  I'll need some more bits - most of which I probably have but just need to find.

The rifles and arms are from Anvil.  Good stuff, reasonably priced and quick delivery.  I love VL stuff, which although sometimes looks a little odd on line, that's because it has been designed to be included as a part of a model.  But Australia is a long way away (Ask Col Aukland, te he) so the delivery times can be long.

There's a few FW bits and some white metal pouches from Pig Iron.  I love the Pig Iron stuff and was as pleased at their relaunch as I was sad when they shut up shop.

Bored now.  I'm calling these finished and have put them away. 

A sentinel.  It's the same colour scheme using the same tools. 

Aaaargh !  Transfers coming off callsign 34 !  despite the varnish !

Droopy melty barrel.  And the muzzle vents need cleaning out as well.

But hey, they look ok, especially en masse.

Never did get 'round to disguising the gap in the track links with mud.  Oh well.

And I didn't get 'round to any sponge chipping, either.

But these are good to go; they're possibly better (certainly painted in a more technical fashion) than the rest of the ASL.

But the sentinel will get a bit more work.
