*when paying for a taxi, there's no need to look at your wallet as you take out a bill. justgrab one at random and give it to the driver. it will always be the exact fare.
*anyone waking from a nightmare will bolt upright in bed and pant.
*even when driving on a perfectly straight road, it's necessary to turn the steering wheel from left to right vigorously every few seconds.
*all bombs are fitted with electronic timing devices with large red readouts so you know exactly when they're gonna explode.

lol... skool has started.. no one feels like posting no more.. sadd. haha. hmm..
second day of skool, not much hw has come in yet. except those projects and stuff we were EXPECTED to know we're supposed to do them. haiz. sianzzz.
dunno if i wanna go for sonicfest.. planetshakers and some other band is playing, but i dun really looove them, so.. and its $20. im already spending $20 on my skool's drama nite performance the next day. so, hmm..
yeah. AC drama club is gonna put up a performance on the 29/30th of July. thats a fri and sat.. COME ALONG AND SUPPORT THEM!! im going, so you can have the honour and privelege of sitting with me!!! lolx.
FoP is also another event coming up in august. come along for that one also. i dunno about how much that one will cost, all i noe is that it MIGHT be free.. =)

Actually, you know what just occured to me? haha. i shouldnt be doing this right.. haha. it wasnt my turn to share last nite wad.. haha. nvm. since im sooo NICE, i shall pei u submit reflections.. and tonite's still MY TURN.. ;'( anyway...
I really wonder how i would react if God sent an angel down to ME, saying something along the lines of "Greetings, the Lord's blessings/favour is upon you..." i'd most probably react with something like a "wth?!" hahaha. i may not say it out loud la, cos its not exactly the kind of language to use with an angel, but haha. thats wad would be going on in my mind.
I would most definitely treat the simple greeting with apprehension, and maybe a certain degree of fear. Why is the angel telling me this? What's God's plan for me? I mean, I know his blessing is upon each one of us, so why is this angel telling me that? something BIG is going to heppen - what?
Which is why Mary's reaction surprises me. No hesistation, whatsoever. A virgin, giving birth. to no one less than the Son of GOD! How does she react? Thy will be done. Whoaa....
That kind of trust. This kind of confidence in Him. This is what I've been striving for all along. Yet, this is often mistaken for foolish resignation. However, I'm still gonna continue to rely on Him ENTIRELY.

mary is told to name her baby "Jesus" which means - the Lord is salvation. she is also promised jesus will be God's Son as well as the Messiah and that his kingdom will last forever.

Son of God - HER BABY!
but she does not doubt or even ask for a sign as proof.
she just wants to know how this will happen.
gabriel explains, then he gives her a special sign - elizabeth at her old age who couldn't have children is pregnant!
background information-
mary was then engaged to joseph and an engagement in those days could only be broken with a divorce. any fooling aroundon mary's part would have been considered adultery. this may actually lead to joseph divorcing her or her facing the death penalty. (deuteronomy 22:23,24)
My reflection
mary has a good reason to be nervous but instead, she keeps her eyes fixed on God and says "yes Lord, i'll trust you"
she knew the big picture was crystal clear to God, the Master Artist.
it's just as though you, being so small, can only see this corner of the big picture.. you don't know what the whole thing looks like.. all you see is this blob of paint which seems insignificant.
sometimes when we're in certain terrible, horrible and eeky situations, we tend to focus on that small corner of the picture, not remembering that the master peice is in the hands of God, not remembering that He makes no mistakes, not remembering that only he can see the whole picture till he reveals it to you. God knows exactly what he's doing, so i guess we'll just have to learn to trust him as mary has especially at times when we're facing the impossible-to-overcome. trust him just as Job did, when everything he had was taken from him in a heartbeat. he never blamed God or got angry with Him, instead trusted and praised Him all the way. true enough, he was blessed abundantly. =)))

Good ol' me went to accompany my bros to Escape Theme Park today. There were A FEW rides that caught my attention, but sadly I couldnt go on many of them often becos my bros either din want to go or they couldnt make the height limit, and I wasnt supposed to leave them alone. Sigh. Oh well. ETP was still overall BORING la.. haha. Maybe my standards are too high, but there you have it. My opinion. Haha. Quite a waste of time if you ask me, one whole day there, but well… for my good lil' brothers… HAHA. I cant even say that phrase without laughing – "good lil' brothers". Hahaha. But datz a different story.
Anyway, just finished a report on Day 2 of GAC. Was quite fun to do, was my first time doing a report of this sort. Haha. GAC was really fun la. Really enjoyed myself then. Unexpected eh? Hah. Die. Russ is gonna kick me out of the Lee Clan liao. Haha. But really, it could be said to have been the best time of my life. All the camaraderie etc. whoosh! It RAWKED la.. anyway, doing the report really brot back memories.
*note to self: must make sure camps planned for our future sec1s are as much of a success as GAC. It MUST be as good, if not BETTER than this one!

Haha. This is the 12th BB company theme song. It has always held a special place in my heart, and I've always found the words very meaningful. Take a few moments to read the words. How wonderful if everyone could really be as the song describes. I know I and a few others constantly strive for this, but I also know others who think they can manage on their own, without God, without their fellow comrades/friends/BB boys, whatever..
The tune is really nice also. But because it was composed by an ex-AC boy aka ex 12th coy officer, there isn't actual notes. The best I have are the chords to it. haha. I might upload it soon to this site so u can hear it. haha. But I warn u. I'm not exactly the world's greatest guitarist, but u can roughly get the tune. Haha.

I'M BACKKKKKKK!!!! since i can be considered protected now that ive found a GREAT password gate, i can now post in peace. Heh. Looks like i disappeared for a long time eh? not as long as Bruce Wayne's 7 year disappearance, but long enuf. HAHA.
Yeah. thats wad i did todae. watched batman with sparks, zhenghan, david lai, and clement. Haha. Thank God David and Clement agreed to come ultra-last minute. I would have DIED if it was sparks and rat alone. aaaaahhh. ULTRA awkward lorh, fortunately, it wasnt the case.

It was MEGA fun la. save the part when we were walking around, supposedly looking for a father's day gift, but ended up wasting an hour plus doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. haha. but it was still HILARIOUS. (Sparks' new name is now ELEPHANT) Master Fat-Ass is damn oop and omgwtfbbq-ingly oop and roflmao la. hahah. excuse the leet speak. he's super duper funny la. and sparks was squirming around during batman. you could actually just stretch your hand out and touch the water cause that's really juast how close you are to it! it was a little scary at first.. but it was super relaxing.. like.. better than a spa!

that's pat and adrian on the way to the waterfall.. it was about.. hmm.. a 2-3 hour walk/climb there.. but hey! aren't they sweet?? below's another even sweeter picture!!
