By combining classic game mechanics with cutting-edge virtual reality technology, we aimed to create a space where players can connect and enjoy a seamless experience regardless of device.

How We Built It

Cozy Square was built using TypeScript to manage the game logic and interactions. We leveraged the Meta Horizons platform to create the game world and integrated it with real-time multiplayer features. Key elements of development included:

  • Game Logic: Written in TypeScript to ensure smooth functionality and performance.
  • Integration: Adapting the game to work seamlessly within a Mobile platform and a 3D virtual environment, focusing on usability and intuitive gameplay.

Challenges We Ran Into

We also faced challenges related to optimizing the game for VR, especially managing the balance between performance and graphics quality.
