Dino Mart Tycoon is a lively, prehistoric shopping simulation game where players build and manage a grocery empire that serves dinosaur customers. Starting small, players grow and harvest crops, stock shelves, and help customers. As profits rise, they can hire cave-person workers, expand store areas, and unlock machines that transform ingredients into premium treats like apple pies and cookies. Workers can harvest, bake, and move inventory, and they can be upgraded to increase speed and capacity.

The world bursts with color and imagination: lush jungles, sparkling rivers, dino-themed details, and an erupting volcano create a vibrant backdrop. Music, sound, haptics, and visual effects add excitement and immerse players in the prehistoric atmosphere.

Inspiration

The game blends a love of dinosaurs, prehistory, pop culture, and tycoon-style gameplay with a focus on creativity and plant-based food. One of the creators, a vegan, inspired the emphasis on natural ingredients.

Gameplay and Design

A smooth onboarding experience introduces players to the core gameplay loop of building, operating, and expanding. Strategic decision-making drives progress: players choose where to invest and expand, and as the empire grows, new features cost more – but yield higher rewards. Players can delegate daily operations to NPC workers so they can focus on strategy and expansion. The NPCs and player outfits were created with GenAI, adding personality to the experience. Leaderboards foster friendly competition among players, and fun views throughout the world encourage photo sharing.

Development and Teamwork

Dino Mart Tycoon was created by two collaborators: Mikey Ace led game design and art direction, and King of Miami developed scripting and gameplay systems. Working virtually, they merged creativity, technology, and fun into a dynamic, accessible world.

What’s Next

Future updates will introduce new store areas, foods, a speed run mode, and seasonal events to engage players in prehistoric fun.
