Inspiration
The idea of creating a three-video bitcoin propaganda campaign required an additional introductory video, so here we are. The video wants to invite you to vote for your favorite video, suggesting that there will also be a prize at the end, but without saying which one.
What it does
This video aims to present the three propaganda videos available and the competition of choice through the likes that are accumulated.
How we built it
Only open source programs were used to create the video. Openshot was used for the creation and composition of the video. Gimp was used for image editing. Inkscape was used to manage the graphics. Audacity was used for audio manipulation and correction. Libreoffice was used for pdf document. In addition, other widely available, open-use technologies were used. TTS speech synthesis of synthetic but natural voices from Microsoft was used. Bing's dall-e 3 generative AI system was used to generate images.
Challenges we ran into
Understanding how to create a YouTube channel dedicated to the communication campaign and in which to insert the various videos was a separate job. The presentation video itself was the easiest to make.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The graphic coherence of the dedicated YouTube channel and the presentation video required attention and several changes.
What we learned
I learned how to create a YouTube channel and structure it to host a like contest.
What's next for Discover Bitcoin
Educate the public on the main characteristics of Bitcoin but without technicalities. Involve a varied audience, from young adults, professionals, families. Promote active debate and participation through a voting contest for the three videos in the Discover bitcoin series. Increase awareness and trust in Bitcoin as a currency, payment and investment tool. If the reception to the competition is enthusiastic, the distribution of exceptional bitcoin ordinals is expected for subscribers to the dedicated YouTube channel.
