Inspiration
We wanted to create a scheduling software with a familiar name.
What it does
The product generates a set of groupings for a business to split its workforce into teams, based on the group's collaboration needs and preferences.
How we built it
We used Java to build the backend sorting algorithm. The front end uses HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, TailwindsCss, Next.js, and React.js.
Challenges we ran into
Some Challenges that we ran into were the following. The problem statement uses the idea of an activity selection problem. This provided some very rigid constraints to the project. The preferred language for this type of problem is prolog and the team has very limited experience using prolog.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of what we're able to accomplish in designing both the front and back end of the site.
What we learned
We need to learn more about React.js/Next.js, some AWS skills, and MongoDB skills.
