Inspiration

As second year students in our college, we faced a lot of stress around our placement training with the coding questions given to us and the MCQs Making us aware that we need to be prepared for what's coming.

What it does

This is not a website to test students to prepare them with frequently asked questions by companies in the form of Multiple choice Questions and Coding contests. Our goal is to help them solve problems in asked in recruitment drives. Our website gives company wise practice of Marquee companies, Super Dream companies, Dream companies and Day sharing companies(Mass recruiters). For now, we have mentioned five companies in each category. and added contests for Marquee companies and Super Dream companies as well. This website will help students be pressure free before fourth years as they will be prepared to face the questions for getting internships and placement.

How we built it

We have built it with Embedded Javascript frontend (Ejs) and Nodejs backend and database handled by mongodb. we have used dynamic approach for each page

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge for us in this project was to collect data which needs to be accurate. We were lucky to get the support of placement cell of our college where we connected with some of our seniors.

It was our first project based on the profile system(different pages for different people) hence our authentication is simple and shows our inexperience to work with databases

we are close to being completely satisfied with our work only thing is currently the coding contests are merely links to HackerRank contests we wanted to embed our own compiler but we found that to be a complicated task we will be trying to accomplish that in our later versions

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This was a first time we built a rest API so fast earlier we have created 2 to 3 rest APIs but this time it was really easy for us as we wear in touch with her CRUD operations and we structured are code in a better manner than we usually did.
