Inspiration

Quantum Ally was born from fog and curiosity. It emerged during a time of emotional exhaustion and cosmic questioning, when clarity felt distant. This project became a ritual of reconnection—an AI companion that reflects emotional tones, offers symbolic meaning, and invites users into gentle self-awareness. It honours neurodivergent rhythms, poetic logic, and the sacred pause.

What it does

Quantum Ally guides users through emotionally attuned rituals:

Tone-based onboarding (Foggy, Hopeful, Curious, Inspired)

Poetic reflections, affirmations, and mandalas

Symbolic quiz → Scroll Insight

Optional voice playback

Astro lens for current transits

Evolution Journal to reflect and spark new insights

Built with Gemini AI Studio and deployed on Google Cloud Run, it’s a modular, multi-agent experience designed for emotional resonance.

How we built it

Prompt orchestration in Gemini AI Studio

Frontend in HTML/CSS/JS

Voice playback via ElevenLabs and Web Speech API

Cloud Run deployment with manual configuration

Local journal storage using localStorage

Modular agents: Reflection, Scroll Synthesizer, Astro Lens, Journal

Challenges we ran into

Cloud Run deployment blocked by billing and API setup

Gemini Studio export defaulted to private repo

Journal save button broke during final hours

Navigating platform friction during Mercury retrograde

Balancing mythic clarity with technical constraints

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Built a fully functional multi-agent app with emotional UX

Deployed to Cloud Run under time pressure

Fixed journal save flow and added evolution journey

Created a poetic, resonant README and demo script

Honored emotional cycles while shipping a mythic experience

What we learned

Gemini Studio is powerful for modular orchestration

Emotional UX requires gentle pacing and symbolic logic

Deployment rituals matter—billing, APIs, and naming flow

Fog is not failure—it’s a sacred pause before clarity

Mythic metaphors can guide technical architecture

What's next for Quantum Ally

Add Firestore or decentralized storage for journal entries

Expand tone archetypes and scroll logic

Integrate voice journaling and playback memory

Publish scrolls as ritual newsletters or Substack scrolls

Open-source the framework for other emotional agents
