We inspired by the possibilities of Instagram AR filters and wanted to show what exactly gives Facebook's AR to users. We used most popular touch gestures and packed them into scenario of Sci-Fi gameplay, to make user feel performing a space mission.
User find AR portal and enter it by tapping the screen, then he see mission task and few arrows that navigate him through all mission. This effect is more cool with sound on :)
We used a lot of 3D models, animations sequences, animation patches, some scripts, many different sounds, designs and materials.
The most difficult thing was to make user like a real astronaut, we did 2D imitation of space helmet, it looks cool)
We are really proud of our sound design inside the game and also of our atmosphere demo-video, you must see it!)
We had not enough time for this project so we will optimize it a lot and make it more cool and chick ;)
