Inspiration

The inspiration for Scholar Platform came from the real struggles university students face: juggling multiple courses, preparing for exams, losing items on campus, and staying motivated. We wanted to create a solution that not only helps students learn smarter but also connects them to campus life and resources—all powered by cutting-edge AI.

What it does

Scholar Platform is an all-in-one web app for university students. It offers:

  • AI-powered exam prep: Personalized quizzes and summaries
  • Smart study planner: Adaptive schedules based on your courses and exams
  • Found & Lost: Report, search, and claim lost or found items on campus
  • Campus news & notifications: Stay updated on events and announcements
  • Gamification: Earn points, track achievements, and compete on leaderboards
  • 24/7 support and community features

How we built it

We built Scholar Platform using Next.js and React for the frontend, Node.js and Express for the backend, and MongoDB Atlas for data storage. The AI features leverage Google Gemini API for quiz and summary generation. Tailwind CSS and Lucide Icons power the modern, accessible UI. The platform is hosted on Vercel, with cloud infrastructure for scalability and reliability.

What's next for Scholar Platform
