Inspiration
We were inspired by our own confusions and struggles when trying to learn about our skin, what the issues were, and products that work. We were also inspired by the community around us that has been through or is going through what we felt.
What it does
selfcare.io helps users easily and effectively find skincare products right for them by analyzing pictures of their skin and answering clarifying questions in order to narrow down the issues and possible solutions.
How we built it
We built it using react, ML using SVM, and flask.
Challenges we ran into
One challenge we ran into was learning and adopting new technologies. We tried implementing Reflex, MindsDB, and others, but ran into issues with implementing them.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
One big accomplishment we're proud of is building and training our ML from the ground up.
