Inspiration

I started noticing how opportunity for funding was mostly location based, and location was a issue. Noticed how founders migrated to other cities to build and establish their ideas. Sometimes, even when their are non location based opportunities for SME and Non profits, they might not see. So I decided to build a social network that capitalizes on this issue. I believe in few years time, SproutInno would be to Startup funding, the way linkedIn is to Job.

What it does

Funding has always been the backbone of Innovation SproutInno would help close the location and gender gap in Funding for Startups, SME, Non profits and NGO in our community, by offering a new way to getfunded. Startup and non profits would post their pitch either Publicly for Vcs and Investors to view and approach them and schedule an audio/ video meeting on sproutInno or Privately to investors, organizations and governments!

This way the SproutInno could try increase the percentage of startups getting funding. INNOVATION IS OUR PRIORITY!!

How we built it

built the frontend with a react and flowbite library , the backend with node js. and the mobile with flutter.

Challenges we ran into

I started building with a 2 man team consisting of a designer and me, an engineer, but the designer left half way due to heavy school work, leaving me to work on it alone.
