We chose our project on environmental problem. Regulating plastic pollution by replacing the use of traditional plastics with bioplastics instead. Now, you may be wondering, what exactly is bioplastic? In essence, it is a type of plastic that is derived from biological substances rather than petroleum. Not only is it biodegradable, but it also boasts enhanced biodegradability, can be recycled, and causes less pollution. By replacing traditional plastics with bioplastics, we can significantly reduce our impact on the environment.

TZANGLE offers a unique opportunity for users to buy and sell biodegradable products that benefit the environment. We are building a network of bioplastic sellers and partnering with biogas plants to ensure that used bioplastics are repurposed effectively. Our website, created using HTML and CSS, is visually stunning and user-friendly, thanks to the use of Bootstrap, favicons, and Google fonts.

Inspiration

Our project idea was chosen with the utmost care and precision - we scoured the latest news about alternative energy sources to find the perfect fit. As for our website design, we drew inspiration from a few stunning designs on Dribble and Cassie's personal blog. We wanted to create a sleek and professional look that would make our project shine like a diamond in the rough. And, did we succeed? Cassie Evan's Blog

What it does

Allow us to introduce Tzangle, a platform that champions the use of bioplastics to safeguard our planet. Alright folks, let's take a stroll through our project and see what we've got cooking. First up, feast your eyes on our homepage - the crown jewel of our website. We are building a network of bioplastic sellers and partnering with biogas plants to ensure that used bioplastics are repurposed effectively. As we scroll down, we've got some sweet options for buying, selling, and taking surveys. And if you're curious about our story, we've got a little something for you to read too. But wait, there's more! Check out the FAQ section for any burning questions you may have. And don't forget to give a shoutout to our copyright in the footer - gotta give credit where credit is due. Now, let's take a gander at the sidebar on the right-hand side of the website. We got an offcanvas navbar! Here, we've got a plethora of options to explore. Want to buy or sell something? Click on over to that page and get your shopping on. And if you're feeling lucky, take the quick survey and score yourself a free plant. All in all, our website Tzangle has got it going on. But don't just take our word for it- Explore it!

How we built it

Our website, created using HTML (as basic layout) and CSS (a necessary add-on)is visually stunning and user-friendly, thanks to the use of Bootstrap, favicons, and Google fonts. To further enhance the user experience, we have incorporated Storyset, Lordicon, and Font-awesome to create bespoke icons and images. We are proud to have hosted our project on Github, making it easily accessible to all.

Challenges we ran into

We had to fix the padding and alignment of the images and compatibility with variety of devices. There was an issue building the perfect interface to link traders for bioplastics and the transactions too. We are working to fix such issues.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We hosted this website on Github and used customized animated icons and blended hover pseudo class for funny interactions too.

What we learned

We learned to customize and animate icons and learnt better use of padding and margin values for containers. In conclusion, Tzangle is not just a project, but a movement. Our team's unwavering dedication to creating a seamless and visually stunning website is a testament to our commitment to the cause.

What's next for Tzangle

We will fix the web interface to match with our target audience's ease and blend more features to appeal more audience to actually look into the real goal of our project. Stay tuned. Stay safe.
