Potty Time!

Yesterday afternoon, Diego pee pee in the potty for the first time.
He did it again this morning. He is not wanting to poop, but we are happy with the progress.

Easter 2009

Diego had a great time. The Easter Bunny came and brought him animal and dinosaur eggs,he also brought him a basket full of sports toys ( Hockey game, baseball, golf, etc)
We went to church in the morning! Then we went to Uncle John and Aunt Lynne's house. We had a great time , but a big scare when Joseph fell off the bum bum (4 wheeler) The ambulance came to take him to the hospital. Thank God he is OK!,
Diego rode the Horse for a little while and hanged out with his cousins. Joel and him bonded together for a long time.

First Sleep Over

One of our friends had a baby and we volunteered to keep her other boy at home. Adan came to spend the night with Diego and they had a great time. They played, they took a bath and they drank milk together before going to bed.

First Movie!

Today, we brought Diego to the movies for the first time. He was really good and really busy eating popcorn and M&Ms. He really enjoyed the first hour of the movie. After that, he got a little tired of sitting down and he started jumping around. Anyway, it was good and I am sure that we will go back soon. The movie was Madagascar 2. Really cute movie!
After the movie, we went to see Santa Clause! Diego was fine until we asked him if he wanted to go sit on Santa's lap. He freaked out and said he was ready to go bye bye.

Daddy's 35th B-day!

We had a b-day party for daddy and we baked a cake and some cupcakes. I had to hide the cake because Diego couldn't resist to try the icing. He loves any kind of sweats! I am glad he is so active, if not, he would be so FAT!

Cleaning!

I left Diego watching TV to go take a shower. When I was done, he came to me and said...Mommy, I cleaned. I said what????? He said again, I cleaned. When we went to see what he had cleaned. I found a trail from my kitchen sink all the way to my bedroom with some kind of liquid. Then he showed me that he had poured the entire bottle of Dawn CONCENTRATED with OXYCLEAN!!!!!! All over the house. I wanted to kill him! but I couldn't help it and laugh. Of couse, it took me over 3 hours to get all that soap out of my floor and bubbles were still coming out.
MY LITTLE DEVIL!!!!!!!

Cupcakes!

Jenee made some awesome cupcakes for the halloween party. We had some left and even after all the candy that Diego ate that day, he managed to enjoy a CUPCAKE! Funny! I think my child has a very sweet tooth.

Halloween Party!

Today, we hosted the Halloween Party for our Stay at Home Mom and kids group. It was really fun and the kids looked really cute with their costumes.
Diego was dressed as a pirate. God! He ate so much candy!!!!! Babba and Papi arrived today and he was so excited to see them. Adan was a Pumpkin, Addison was a Bumble Bee, Jared a scientist, Mason a Big Pirate, Madi a Witch, Johnny a car as well as Hannah. So cute!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caught!

Diego was supposed to be watching a movie while mommy took a shower. When I was done with the shower, I went to check on him and this is what I found........

Papaya

This morning, I had some freshly cut Papaya. It was really sweat. I had put it in a big bowl, then the phone rang. When I came back to the kitchen, half of the papaya was gone and the THIEF was found! He was so Funny ! Enjoy the video

Hurricane Gustav

Second time we have to evacuate this year. This time we decided to go East! We headed for Biloxi, MS and had a great time. We were nervous that we would get some storm damage, but we were lucky that everything turned out OK for us.
We had dinner at Hard Rock Hotel, next morning Diego flirted with the ladies at the Beau Rivage buffett and they made him some Waffles with M& M's on top. He was in HEAVEN. After that, every morning when we would arrive to the restaurant for breakfast, Diego ahd already a waffle his style ( M&M's on top )ready to go. That is what I call "SPOILED"

Visit to the ER

We evacuated for Hurricane IKE. We went to San Antonio! The first night Diego got really sick. He had a fever of 103 degrees and we got really scared. Next morning (Sunday) we had to bring him to the Emergency Room. That was the only thing open on Sunday. It turned out to be an ear infection! We took some pictures of him and even though he was sick. He looks CUTE as always. Thank God it was nothing serious.

Dentist Appointment!

We had the first dentist appointment for Diego today. He did very good and the ladies were really sweat with him.

Stupid me forgot the camera. So, I do not have a picture of his first visit.

Diego's Two Year Old Check Up

We went to the doctor this morning for his check up. He is growing good and he said his motor skills were awesome.
We had a little issue with his back. Where he had his little warts, one got infected and has created Staff Infection. Doctor had to drain it and it was very painful to his. He was such a trooper. My poor baby!!!!!!!!!!!! He is taking medicine and we hope that it goes away soon.

Diaper Out!

This morning, while we were getting ready to go to the gym, I started dressing Diego and half way he ran away. He always do that, so I started dressing myself. When he came back, he had pulled the diaper off and had a face.................. like he had done something wrong.
I asked him and he said pee pee. He brought me to the corner, and to my surprise. He had Pee in the carpet. I wanted to scream. Then, I thought it was funny and he is almost ready to be potty trained.
Where is my baby????????? I have a BIG BOY now.

Another week has ended!

We didn't do much of anything today. We went to John Fred's house for lunch. They had fried some fish! Then, we came back and Diego took a nap. In the afternoon Robert brought him to see the BEANS (Paw Paw's) in the 4 wheeler. Came back and played basketball outside.
Paw Paw and Grany are out of town in Colorado. They went to meet Donna Jo and her family.
We are in charge of the FARM, and of course the "BEANS" LOL

Johnny and Hannah's B-day!

We brought Diego to celebrate Johnny's 2 and Hannah's 4 year old birthday party. We had a great time. They had a huge water slide and Diego went down about 700 times.
He is such a boy!

We went to the gym today and for the first time, he did not cry when I left him at the nursery. We went swimming after that! He loves the water

Diego is TWO!!!!!!!

My baby turned TWO!!!!!!!!! We had a party August 2nd and a bunch of friends and family came. The kids rode the ponies and hit the pinata "CABALLO".
Diego had a great time.

Weekend at Lauberge

The weather has been really nice and hot, so we decided to go spend the weekend at the lazy river. Diego had a lot of fun with his cousins and friends. He loves the water. My little fish! He also likes the arcade, so we spent the late afternoon of both days there playing with him.
Russell, Ryan, Ross, Lynne, John Fred, Josh, Joseph and Brailey and Bron came to meet us.

Diego at 23 months

My baby is so big, he is just adorable. I am just amazed at how much energy he has.
He is saying Mama all day long. LOVE IT!!!!!!!
We tried to take pics today, but he didn't want to do it. He kept covering his face.
So funny.

He is walking!

At excatly 11 months old he has started walking. We went to Lauberge for a bite to eat and to get out. He started pushing on the stroller and then he took off. Robert saw him first and was so excited. He is a BOY! Where did my baby go?????
He will be walking for his first b-day. How exciting!

First Tooth!

Wow! He has teeth. I was worried for a while with no sign of teeth. Today he got his first on at almost 9 months. He is drooling and chewing on everything. Poor baby!

Crawling!

He finally crawled using both arms and legs. He had only be doing it with his Belly! He is so cute and I just love him to death.

Diego was born today!

About 8:30am the doctor came and check to see how I was doing and she ordered an ultrasound. At about 9:30am Robert left the hospital to go pick up mom, ten minutes later my water broke and I was scared. The nurse said it was OK! The ultrasound people came and the baby was facing up. So, we were gonna have to have a C-Section.
At about 12:00 in the afternoon they came and got me to bring me to the operation room. They got me ready, then they brought Robert to the room. I had never been so excited in my life. At exactly 12:46pm,we heard the baby cry. That was the most amazing moment of my life. I got to see Diego and he looked so perfect. I love my baby boy. Robert left the room with him, to bring him to the nursery and show him to my mom who was waiting outside.

We are having a baby

Today is my birthday and we had to travel to Houston to find out if I am pregnant. We had blood work done in the morning and saw the doctor at 1:00pm. It seemed like it was forever.
After a long wait, we found out today that I am PREGNANT.
What a better B-day Present. God is GREAT!
I am the happiest woman in the world.
I will have my first ultrasound in 2 weeks to see if it is one or more. The doctor said that my CHG levels are high, so we have a chance of having a multiple pregnancy.
We welcome whatever God wants to send us.
