My Farewell Post To Lindy's Gang
PLUS
Lindy's "December Tag-A-Long"
"A Photo Christmas Tag"

Image

Hi there friends. Welcome to Lindy's  Gang "December-Tag-A-Long".

Before I start on this post I just want to say thanks so much for following my
Lindy's journey & this is my final post on the Lindy's blog today as I am stepping
down from the Lindy's team at the end of this month to cut back on my
workload a little,  I just have way too much on my plate at the moment.
Thank you so much to all the
Lindy's gang for having me on your team over the past year.
It has been an absolute pleasure & an honor to work with such amazing products.

So lets get started on this tag post !!  All the girls in the Lindy's design team are creating
some gorgeous tags for Christmas & I thought it might be nice to actually add a photo
to my tag. Kind of personalises it & I thought it might be nice, tied onto a gift for
someone special in my family too.

Image

I have heat embossed the little 2Crafty Chipboard  #tistheseason chipboard word with
Lindy's "Cuckoo Clock Cardinal" embossing powder. Such a gorgeous Christmas red.

Image

For the background of my tag I used Lindy's "Tiffany Lou Blue" Starburst Spray.
It is such a beautiful colour & the perfect contrast with red. Just right for Christmas.

Image

Next up I used Lindy's "Sassy Saphire" Magicals out of the "Drop Dead Diva" Magical set
on the 2Crafty chipboard holly branch on my tag. This is probably my most favourite
Lindy's colour of all & I use it all the time !!

Well there you have it. I hope you like my tag & all the other tags our design team
 are making this month.

Merry Christmas to all.

My 2Crafty Chipboard December DT Reveal
Part Two
"#Merry Christmas"

Image

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have part two of my
December DT reveal for
Well as promised, I have another Christmas layout to
inspire you to scrap some of those Chrissy pics.

Image

2Crafty Products Used...
Mini Hashtag Words-Xmas
Tiny ATC Hearts & Stars Pack
Bag of 2017's
Christmas Polaroid Frames
Pointed Ornament Set

Image

For my title I used the "#Merry Christmas" title out of the
"Mini Hashtags Xmas Words" pack which I painted in red acrylic
paint & when dry I added a coat of "Glossy Accents" to add some shine.

Image

For the "Pointed Ornaments" I painted the back in purple paint & added
purple glitter to it while wet. For the front part of the ornament I heat
embossed in gold & wiped a little purple ink over to create a bit of shabby.

Image

Here you can see the "Christmas Polaroid Frames". I do love these.
I have simply painted these in acrylic paints, the easiest way to treat chipboard.

Image

A little mixed media on the background & lots of sequins for sparkle.

I have also sprayed some 49 and Market flowers to match.

Image

I treated the "2017" date the same as I did on the title.
I love these as it makes the date into an embellishment.

Image

Well thats all I have for you today, I hope you liked this one.

Back soon with more.

My 2Crafty Chipboard December DT Reveal
Part One
"A Christmas Wish"

Image

Hi there friends & Merry Christmas to you all.
Today I have part one of my December DT reveal for
2Crafty Chipboard.
A Christmas themed layout to share with you featuring my gorgeous grandaughter Mia.

Image
2Crafty Products Used..
Sweet Holly Corner
Bag of 2017's
Tiny ATC Hearts & Stars
A Christmas Wish - title
Holly Flourish
Stars Pack

Image

First up I did a mixed media background & adding lots of glitter to it,
although it is always hard to see glitter & sparkle in photos.

For the title, and all the stars, were simply given a coat of red
acrylic paint. When dry I added some red glitter to all the stars.

Image

For both the "Sweet Holly Corner" & the "Holly Flourish" were firstly coated with
gesso followed by some texture paste blobbed on with my finger to create texture,
& then coloured up with some Lindy's Magicals in "Sassy Saphire".

I have cut them into pieces & added them here & there on my layout.

Image

The little birdie was simply painted with some white acrylic paint.

Image

I do love the look of the added texture on all the holly leaves.

Image

Image

Well there is another layout ready for the scrapbook album !!

Be sure to check out 2Crafty's extensive Christmas range of chipboard.

Back in a couple of days with another Christmas layout for you.

Until then....

My 49 and Market - December DT Reveal
Part Two
"My Christmas Angel"

Image

Hi there friends, thanks for calling by the blog. Today I have part two of my December
DT reveals for 49 and Market to share with you.
I thought I would go with another Christmas layout.

Image

Image

49 and Market products used.....
"Vintage Artistry" collection - "Laws of Nature" paper
"Vintage Artistry" collection - "Ephemera Cut Out Sheet" paper
"Butterfly Harvest" Layered 3D Embellishments
"Blossom Blends" flowers in Poppy Red
"Garden Seeds" flowers in Poppy Red

Image

Now although the products I have used are not necessarily Christmas themed, I think
because I have used reds, greens & gold it gives it a lovely rich & traditional Christmas feel.

Image

I just adore this fabulous green foliage from their "Butterfly Harvest" Layered 3D Embellishment Sheet & when mixed in with all the flowers I really looks great. Plus you get so many pieces in the pack you get several layouts out of just the one pack.

Image

I have used these gorgeous seed pod sprays out of the "Cottage Blooms" pack
& I have simply brushed them over with a little gold paint.

Image

All of my lovely chipboard including the Christmas Tree, the snowflakes & the title
 are all from 2Crafty Chipboard.

Image

I have also cut out lots of bits from the 49 and Market "Vintage Artistry"
"Ephemera Cut Out Sheet" to layer up behind my photos.

Image

Well thats all from me today, I hope I have inspired you in some small way.
I will see you back here again in a couple of days with more inspiration.

Until then....

My 49 and Market - December DT Reveal
Part One
"Remember Today"

Image

Hi there friends, back again with another layout I created using a mixture of
different 49 and Market products which is up on their blog today.

Image

49 and Market Products used....
"Rusty Autumn" collection - "Reminiscent" paper (B side)
"Vintage Artistry" collection - "Flora & Fauna" sheet (B side)
Archival Board - "Remember Today - white
Gabbi's "Postcards From Paris" stamp set
Blossom Blends Flowers in Cotton white
Floral Mixology Flowers - Galway Gray

Image

I used the "B" sides of both the papers. All the grays of these papers & flowers go so well together.

Image

The fresh white of the "Blossom Blends" white flowers made the perfect contrast against the grays.

Image

The "Floral Mixology" flowers in Galway Gray also have some
dark blue ones in the same pack & worked perfectly.

Image

Here you can see I used a gorgeous pair of 2Crafty chipboard frames underneath my photos.

Image

In the photo above you can see I have stamped a couple of postcards in gray using the
"Postcards From Paris" set & added them under the photos to create some extra layers.

Image

I hope you like my layout today & I will be back in a couple of days
with another one to share with you.
Until then...
