May

We moved a few weeks ago. Well, exactly 3 weeks ago. It was tough. I don't really want to expound upon it, because I'm afraid it will be akin to rubbing salt into an open wound. It's been terrific and tough at the same time. More about that later. In the meantime, a few pictures from our first few weeks with Greta which coincidentally turned out to be our last few weeks in Charlotte.

April

April was busy to say the least. There were spring blossoms, Easter egg hunts, much-needed haircuts, baby showers, potty training attempts, T-ball games, "big girl" beds, growing tummies, and birthday parties. Sebastian had his 5th birthday, but Sam and I have requested that he choose to remain 4 years old forever. To this he replied, "well, I can't stay four, but maybe I can just wait a few more days until I turn five....because I have to grow up SOMEDAY." Happy Birthday, big guy! I love you.

Snow...again

Image
Image
Image
It snowed on Christmas Day while we were in Dallas. It was beautiful and the perfect backdrop for the holiday. Then, it decided to snow here. Ugh. I realize that the amount we got was minimal in comparison to the rest of the country (even TX). That said, I'm still not a huge fan of the cold, let alone accompanying snowfall. The kids and Sam loved it of course. I stayed warm inside, so I could...uhh...document the action. I'm afraid my lack of enthusiasm for the snow has rubbed off on Mia, because she was more than happy to survey the goings on from her comfortable perch on the hood of the car.

Numero tres

It's a little late for a breaking news-type announcement, but I'm expecting #3 in early May. That makes me 6 months pregnant, but I might as well be 8 by the look of things. I guess my body is showing off its stellar memory of my previous pregnancies, because I sure seem to be bigger sooner. Oh well, at least I'm past the stage when acquaintances' eyes seem to linger on your stomach trying to decipher if it's holiday weight gain they spy or something more significant. No, we didn't find out the gender, although I was THIS close. May 11th is the official due date. I've already notified the local fire department.
